Information Density: Graphisoft – Signal Evidence & AI Readability

Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
23 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
77% Reputation

Information density is exceptionally high for a software provider. The pricing page provides granular financial data, such as upfront payments of £1,913 for Archicad Studio and £2,250 for Archicad Collaborate, rather than hiding costs behind a lead-gen wall. Case studies are not generic success stories; they name specific firms (LINK Arkitektur, TSPC Group) and specific projects (Sherwood Observatory, Hotel Dorothea). While the H1 ‘Best design experience’ is pure fluff, it is an outlier in a sea of technical specifications and program names like ‘BIM Manager Program’ and ‘Beta Program 2026’.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

📝 The Narrative — clean text per page (the substance-vs-filler signal)

Student/Educator Licenses are valid for 1 year. Educational institution licenses are valid for 2 years.
The educational license is intended for non-commercial purposes, such as learning, teaching, or academic projects. It cannot be used for commercial or professional architectural projects.
EDU files have an irremovable watermark in the top right corner of each view. This watermark will be present on all printouts.
EDU project files can be opened with a commercial version of Archicad. When opened in the commercial version, Archicad switches to EDU mode, and the watermark appears.
Users with the Archicad Education version cannot join Teamwork projects that were shared in the commercial version.
Apart from ‘Open’, no other data exchange (e.g. copy, paste, merge, hotlink) will work between EDU and commercial project files.
Commercial Trial:
Validity: 30 days (non-renewable)
When the trial period expires, trial projects can be converted to commercial projects by purchasing a commercial license.
Commercial Trial files can’t be converted to Education project files.
Commercial trial files are encrypted and can only be opened on the computer they were saved on.
Teamwork functionality is available but limited, as files can only be opened on the same computer they were saved on.
Educational License:
Available only for students, educators, and educational institutions with valid proof of eligibility.
Student/Educator Licenses are valid for 1 year. Educational institution licenses are valid for 2 years.
EDU project files can be opened with any version of Archicad on any computer but have an irremovable “Education” watermark.
Teamwork features are available for all projects shared in Educational mode, using either BIMcloud Basic or BIMcloud for EDU (BIMcloud for EDU is currently available through a pilot program with limited seats).
The Educational License gives users access to the Archicad Education version, including full modeling capabilities and collaborative Teamwork features with BIMcloud Basic and BIMcloud for EDU (Pilot program - limited spots available). Graphisoft Learn also continuously creates new offers and opportunities for EDU users - browse the course library and stay tuned for new additions!

🧭 Industry Context — common generic-claim patterns in Architecture, Interior Design & Home Improvement to weigh the text against
Generic Claims: bringing your vision to life, creating dream spaces, award-winning designs, exceeding expectations, tailored to your lifestyle, attention to detail…
Red Flags: portfolio with no project names or locations, no professional registrations listed, stock interior photography, claims every design style without specialization evidence, no planning or regulatory knowledge demonstrated, renders presented as completed projects…
Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage shows luxury residential but services include budget renovations, portfolio shows one style but claims versatility across all aesthetics, homepage claims bespoke but process page describes standardized packages, claims architectural services but team has no registered architects…
Proof Expectations: named project portfolio with before/after images, professional registration numbers (RIBA, AIA, ARB), client testimonials linked to specific completed projects, planning permission and building regulation references, named team members with professional qualifications, project timelines and budget adherence examples…
