Update on our fundraiser in association with Act for Meningitis
Last Sunday, we had a fundraiser in association with Act for Meningitis Ireland in memory of Ross' daughter, Lola.
We opened the doors at 12pm and by that time, there was a que around the corner of the street. It was fantastic to see so many people from Limerick and all over the country supporting our day! There was tickets on sale all day for our raffle, it proved very popular as there was some amazing prizes up for grabs!
Ross Nagle, Paul O'Rourke, Jesse Gordan, Eric Zona and Damion Ross were the men that were looking after business and did over 200 tattoos between the 5 of them over 14hours! Some people were waiting up to 9hours which we were overwhelmed by and we are delighted that we got to everyone!
The last tattoo started at 2.45am with the photo below taken with our beautiful family at 4am! It was time to go home then!
Monday evening, the figure raised was at nearly 20k but over the last week, the donations have continued to come in and we are in the middle of our online auction now!
Thank for to every single person that donated, stood in line, supplied food, coffees etc, sold/bought raffle tickets, the list is endless... we are still overwhelmed and eternally grateful!

FUNDRAISER FOR ACT FOR MENINGITIS ON JUNE 14TH
Save the date for Sunday, June 14th. We will be having a fund raiser in memory of Lola, Ross's daughter, in association with ACT for Meningitis Ireland to create awareness all over the country. We will be doing €50 butterfly tattoos which there will be a sheet of designs to choose from. There will be raffles with various prizes, face painting for the kids and an auction. Donations will also be welcome on the day and 100% of money raised will go directly to ACT for Meningitis Ireland on behalf of Lola. If you would like to donate any painting, prints, or vouchers, please send them to 44 Wickham Street, Limerick, every little helps. This will also be filmed by RTE for an upcoming documentary that we are involved in. Thank you in advance, we hope to see everyone!

February News
Hey everyone,
January blues are well and truly over now, and the shop is busier than ever! In case ye guys missed our updates via our social media outlets, here is what is happening in the next few weeks:
Paul is working the Brighton Convention this year from Feb 20th to 22nd, you can find him at the Love Hate London booth, stop on by and say hi to him if you are attending! For appointments and enquiries, you can email him directly at orourketattoo@gmail.com.
Ross is heading stateside and is going working at Cobra Custom Tattoo for for two days, Feb 24th & 25th, before he he heads to San Angelo, Texas to work the West Texas Convention, Feb 27th to Mar 1st. For appointments for either location, you can contact Ross directly at rossnagle@gmail.com.
We are delighted to have our good friends, Beau Brady from Invisible NYC and Matt Beckerich from Kings Avenue NYC, stop for a visit before they head onto Brighton. OPTICAL ILLUSION TATTOO BY PAUL!
Last Saturday was like any other Saturday here at Allstar (or so we thought), both Ross and Paul were busy all day, 80's music pumping, customers having a laugh! Paul created a tattoo on a lovely man from Cork that has now caught the worlds attention and we could not be prouder!!! It has been reposted thousands of times, been featured in numerous online well known websites, along with tattoo forums and other social media sites!!! Here is the picture of the tattoo below! WE ARE GETTING A MAKE OVER!
Hey all! So as some of you might have noticed, we are undergoing a complete make over at the moment. We started with the outside of the shop, which is completed. A lot of work has gone into this and we could not be happier with the end result.  All the signs are hand painted , even our fancy girl heads! We definitely will not be missed now! The inside is in progress at the moment and we do apologise for the disruption but it will be worth it once it is all done! We have a few surprises in store so we will post pictures once completed!
Christmas is only a few weeks away and we have vouchers available in shop, perfect gift for any occasion!!!

A little bit of reading for a Monday!!!
Hey all!
Sorry for the lack of posts lately, we have had a busy few weeks with the opening of our new sister shop in Cork, Love Hate Social Club!
Ross will be splitting his time between Limerick and Cork, doing every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday here at Allstar. Appointments are filling up fast so if you would like to set one up, make sure you act fast and email allstarink@gmail.com
Paul will be here everyday holding the fort apart from Wednesdays, where he will be in Cork, doing what he does best!
With the London Convention not far away, there is sure to be a few guests popping into us, so as soon as we have dates and names.... we will let ye guys know!!!
We also have the brilliant STAB CITY book, from Ross, available for purchase at a cost of €180. This gem of a book contains over 100pages from the world of tattooers. It is a must have book for a collector or a brilliant present!

Opening date for new Love Hate Social Club
As you know from a previous blog, our very own Ross Nagle of Allstar Ink and Ami James of Miami Ink and New York are opening a new shop in Cork City, Love Hate Social Club. The opening of this new shop will be Friday, 1st August and the opening party will be Saturday night, 2nd August! All are welcome! Check out our facebook page below where we have announced artists that will be here opening week, along with regular guests at the shop. For appointments, please email lovehatecork@gmail.com.
