Permanent Waving

A permanent waving treatment involves the use of heat and/or chemicals to break and reform the cross-linking bonds of the hair structure. Khubsoorat Hair & Beauty stocks the full range of L’Oréal Hair Colour for the widest possible choice of shades and techniques to ensure your hair is perfect for you. We offer Root Colouring, Global Colouring, Ombré, Balayage, Highlights, and Lowlights. Please note that all coloring treatments require a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment time if you have not had this service at our salon.

Highlights

Highlights are sections of hair that are dyed a few shades lighter than your base colour. The aim of this is to brighten up the overall colour of your hair as well as add softness and dimension. Our stylists will have a thorough consultation with you prior to your treatment, and they can take reference from any images you may have to create your dream look.

Lowlights

Lowlights are sections of hair that are dyed a few shades darker than your base colour. The aim of this is to add depth and dimension to your hair as well as make your hair appear thicker and more voluminous. Our stylists will have a thorough consultation with you prior to your treatment, and they can take reference from any images you may have to create your dream look.

Children (Under 10)

Our salon offers hair cutting and styling for all children under 10. Our stylists are specially trained to do babies first haircuts as well as children with special needs. Our stylists are very friendly and patient with all ages, and their main aim is to make the child comfortable from the moment they walk into the salon until they leave the door with a brand-new look. The stylists try and make the experience as enjoyable for the child so that they are encouraged to return to our salon for their future haircuts.

Special Occasions

If you have a special occasion coming up like a big night out, your birthday or even your wedding day, our stylists can style your hair to ensure you look perfect for your day. We can incorporate your accessories and create your hairstyle to match your outfit. If you have an event on a Sunday and if possible, we can arrange for our stylists to come into the salon or visit your home after you have had a consultation in the salon and paid a deposit to secure your appointment with us. Please note that there is an additional charge for home visits.

Threading

Threading is an ancient hair-removal technique, practiced for centuries among the most beautiful people in Asia and the Middle East. It is the best alternative to waxing and tweezing, especially for sensitive skin. Threading is by far the least invasive method of facial hair removal; this method creates a graceful brow with clean, well-defined edges that frame the eyes.

Lycon Precision Waxing

Lycon Precision Waxing is ideal for short, stubborn hair on any part of the face and body. It is removed by pulling the wax off the skin directly with no strip once it has dried. The wax leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth and completely hair-free. We use this wax for facial, under arms and bikini waxing

Warm Waxing

Warm Waxing can be used on any part of the face and body. It is removed by pulling the wax off the skin with a strip immediately after it is applied. The removal of hair with warm wax allows the very top layer of skin to be removed which provides an exfoliating effect for extra smooth results.

Tinting

Tinting is a treatment which involves applying a gentle dye to your eyebrows or lashes for about 10 to 15 minutes to darken the shade for a more sharp and full look. For sparse brows, in particular, tinting works wonders at grabbing the lighter hairs to result in a fuller, more dramatic shape. The tint will last between four to six weeks, during which the tint will fade.

Bleaching

Bleaching is a treatment which involves applying an herbal facial lightener to your face for about 10 to 15 minutes to lighten your unwanted facial hair for a brighter and lighter look. For people who find other methods of hair removal uncomfortable, bleaching works wonders by lightening the shade of the hairs to make them less visible. The bleach will last between four to six weeks, during which the bleach will fade.

Strip Lashes

Strip Lashes come in pairs and are applied to the lower edge of the eyelid. They are available in a variety of lengths, styles, and thicknesses. If necessary, we trim the strip from the outside to fit the eye. These lashes last from 1 day to 1 week depending on your routine, however, we recommend they are removed each night then reapplied again.

Individual Cluster Lashes

Individual Cluster Lashes are made up of a few fine hairs connected to a tiny base. You can apply as many lashes as you desire to create your individual look. We recommend between 10 to 15 clusters per eye for a fuller look, however, if you desire a thicker look we can do this by adding more lashes. An important difference between individual lashes and strip lashes is that individual lashes are applied to the base of your own lashes while strip lashes are applied to the eyelid just above your natural lash line. Individual lashes will stay in place until the lashes they are attached to naturally shed. These lashes last from 2 to 4 weeks depending on your maintenance routine.

Lash Perfect Single Semi-Permanent Lashes

Lash Perfect Single Semi-Permanent Lashes are individual lashes that are placed on to your natural lashes using the finest quality medical grade adhesive. The lashes are light, comfortable and natural looking and are available in a variety of curls, lengths and thicknesses, ideal for creating the perfect look for you. Lash Perfect lashes and adhesives are innovatively designed as the lashes can last the length of time of the growth cycle of your natural lashes. To keep them looking fabulous for as long as possible, we recommend eyelash infill maintenance every 2 to 3 weeks.

Manicure

Manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment of the hands performed in a salon. A manicure involves an initial assessment of the hands, and finding out the clients expectations post treatment to create the desired look. We then cut and file the nails to the required length and shape. Next we apply cuticle remover and leave the hands to soak for 5 to 10 minutes. Following this, we push back the cuticles and remove any dead skin using an exfoliator. Next we rinse thoroughly and moisturize and massage the hands. If required we do finish off with a nail polish of your choice.

Pedicure

Pedicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment of the feet performed in a salon. A pedicure involves of an initial assessment of the feet, and finding out the clients expectations post treatment to create the desired look. We then soak your feet for 10 to 15 minutes to soften the nails and dead skin above and below the foot. Thereafter, we remove all hard skin to give you a soft feel to the foot and cut and file the toenails to the desired length and shape. We then use an exfoliator to remove any dry skin which we rinse off thoroughly. Finally, we finish off with a deep massage to relax the client and moisturise the feet and legs. If required we do finish off with a nail polish of your choice.

It can also be used to treat small pimples, and dry skin on the back of arms. The skin instantly looks smoother and brighter. The treatment will last approximately 30 minutes.

Full Body Scrub

Full Body Scrub is a “Facial for the body”. This treatment involves a full body cleanse using Crystal Clear Products. We then follow by an exfoliation of the skin, leaving it feeling fresh, smooth, moisturised and soft. An abrasive product is rubbed vigorously, and massaged across and into your skin in order to remove dead skin, and is then rinsed away to reveal a moisturised layer of fresh, clean and smooth skin. Finally, we finish with a specialist Crystal Clear moisturiser to hydrate and soften your skin. The treatment will last approximately 60 minutes.

Massage

Massage is to work and act on the body with pressure. Massage techniques are commonly applied with hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearms, feet, or a device. The purpose of massage is generally for the treatment of body stress or pain. In our salon we offer various types of massages such as: Head Massages, Back, Neck & Shoulder Massages, Hot Stone Massages and Foot Massages.

Ear/Naval Cleansing

Ear/Naval Cleansing is the use of hollow tubes made of cotton, soaked in beeswax, honey and herbs as a candle which when lit acts like a chimney, causing the warm air inside it to rise and creating a vacuum at the bottom. This vacuum gently stimulates the ear/naval, facilitating removal of excess wax and impurities.

Ear Piercing

Ear Piercing is also a treatment that we offer in our salon. We use Caflon Ear Piercing Products and pierce babies from 6 months onwards. The Caflon ear studs are made from hypoallergenic material which means that they do not cause allergies or irritation. They also come in various styles and sizes such as 24ct gold plate, white stainless and Titanium. All studs are supplied in validated pre-sterilised blister packs using Ethylene Oxide Gas and Gas permeating paper which ensures that the earrings are sterile. The piercing process takes up to 5 minutes and we provide aftercare advice as well as drops to ensure the easiest healing period of 4-6 weeks.

Make Up

Make Up is a service we offer within our salon. If you have a special occasion coming up like a big night out, your birthday or even your wedding day, our stylists apply your make-up to ensure you look perfect for your day. We use a variety of make-up brands to ensure that we have an overall beautiful look. If you have any images as a guide we can work from them and help you create your look. Our make-up artists are professionally trained and have years of experience with make-up.

Henna/Mehndi

Henna, also known as Mehndi is the temporary body art from Ancient India. Henna paste is usually applied on the skin using a plastic cone, by which various designs are drawn onto the hands and feet. After about 15–20 minutes, the henna will dry and begin to crack. Henna is most commonly used during weddings by the Bride and other females in the family. We offer Bridal Henna as well as Regular Henna; however, if you would like this treatment you require a skin allergy test up to 48 hours before the treatment.

Saree Dressing

Saree Dressing is also a service we offer in our salon. A Saree is a garment consisting of a length of cotton or silk elaborately draped around the body, traditionally worn by women from South Asia. The art of putting a saree on can be difficult as there are many different styles by which you can wear one. Our therapists have learnt many of the styles over the years so they can help you look your best.
