Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
25 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
83% Reputation

The site maintains a high substance-to-fluff ratio, particularly regarding credentials and program structure. Substance is found in the quantification of the Job Search Institute (18 live sessions in two months) and specific academic achievements (Stanford Ph.D., Harvard BA). While there are generic power words like transformative and cutting-edge, they are secondary to specific nouns like SARI narrative technique and named institutions like the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

[H3] The Two Main Problems:
As senior leaders, we are ridiculously busy at our jobs. What this means is that we deprioritize our job search. We think, “Oh, if layoffs happen, then I can think about that then.”
If we’re laid off, we think we can do a job search the way we did a job search 3+ years ago. We can’t! The job search has completely changed. The way to get a job IS NOT find a great job and submit a job application. I’ve spoken to people who have applied to 300 jobs, to 650 jobs – this is not how to do it. Especially at a senior level – which is whom this Job Search Institute is for – you will most likely get a job because a specific person will recommend you for that job.
Let’s address both items!
PROBLEM 1: “I’ll think about layoffs when they happen.”
When layoffs happen, the last thing you want to think about is looking for a job. Or if you are looking for a job later, you will have all your materials prepped (resume/LI profile; conversations; your stories). Think of the Job Search Institute as “job insurance”:
Get your resume and LinkedIn profile prepared so that recruiters are ALREADY reaching out to you
Have conversations you need to have so that you’re not going in cold when you need a job (I can’t tell you how often I’ve heard, “Oh Joe is reaching out. I haven’t heard from them in a few years. They probably need a job.”
Prepare your “tell me about yourself” and SARI stories (situation-action-result-interesting thing). These are answers to questions such as “Tell me about a leadership situation,” “Tell me about a time you had to do things in a tight time frame or tight budget,” “Tell me about a time you disagreed with your manager.”
PROBLEM 2: “I got this job 3 years ago; I can do the same things now – polish my resume, find good roles, and apply online.”
That’s the old way. That doesn’t work anymore for two reasons – the market is super-saturated with strong people who have been laid off and recruiters do not sort through 300 applications – they see what referrals have come in. I want you to be that referral.
“Senia’s methodical approach to the Job Search … has allowed me to take more control of my job search.“– Head of Talent
