Semantic Coherence: The Rockefeller Foundation – Signal Evidence & AI Readability

Semantic Coherence — The Lens

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Semantic Coherence Homepage promise vs. Sub-page reality.
18 Impact Weight: 20 / 100
90% Reputation

There is a minor drift between the high-level hero claim of ‘Real Results’ and the visual placeholders in the results section which show zeroed-out data. However, the sub-pages for the Bellagio Center and United States deliver on the homepage’s promise by detailing specific programs like the ‘Big Bets Fellowship’ and named historical impacts such as the Manhattan Project. The alignment between global goals and regional actions is structurally sound.

Semantic Coherence is read from the heading hierarchy first: what each page announces in its H1 and headings, then whether the body actually delivers on it. Below is the structure the engine mapped, followed by the clean text to check for drift between promise and reality.

[H2] Our Current Big Bets
[H5] 1. Universal Energy Abundance:
For all of us, electricity powers opportunity, dignity, and security in the 21st century. With 730 million people still living without access to electricity, we are making a big bet with partners to electrify 1 billion people, including 300 million in Africa by 2030. Read More
[H5] 2. Good Food:
We are what we eat. Yet for too many, our diets are not enough to sustain us. In the U.S., chronic diseases like diabetes, obesity, and heart disease affect an estimated 133 million Americans, driving our work with partners on a big bet to scale Food is Medicine programs nationwide. Globally, over 300 million school-aged children lack access to a nutritious meal, despite school meals providing up to a 35x return on investment as the world’s most extensive social safety net. We’re collaborating to help 100 million children get access to nutritious, sustainable school meals. Good food is good for patients, students, farmers, and many more. Read More
[H5] 3. American Jobs:
Right now, more than 50 million Americans live in communities where employment lags the national average — and AI will soon upend the economy. With partners and in communities, we are working to help create 1.6 million additional jobs across 250 of America’s most distressed communities. Read Moreview our previous big bets

In the United States, we are working to expand opportunities for working families so they can thrive in a changing country and world Overview
[H2]
Even before the concept of the “American dream” was popularized, The Rockefeller Foundation has sought to promote well-being in the United States. Since 1913, we have worked with partners across political, sector, and state and community lines to ensure everyone in the United States has the opportunity for a good job, good health, good food, and good community. Over that history, the Foundation has made several big bets in the United States. In our earliest days, we helped curtail hookworm, which was making life worse across the American South. We helped protect American soldiers and half a billion others from yellow fever. We helped power the scientists and science that fueled the Manhattan Project and decades of advances in nuclear medicine and more. We invested in the ideas and thinkers that helped shape Social Security. We helped get Americans — particularly students — out of Covid-19 lockdowns. And much more.

[H5] Today, the Foundation is focused on a few core pillars of work in the United States:
Our partners are making a big bet on Food is Medicine to help provide high-need patients, including American veterans, with produce prescriptions, medically tailored meals, and healthy grocery programs that have been shown to improve health outcomes for those with hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. We are helping create collaborations to enable tax policies that work better for American workers and their families. Our goal is to advance solutions that will help at least 25 million American workers achieve economic stability. We are a founding member of the Economic Opportunity Coalition (EOC), a historic effort to catalyze and align public and private investments to accelerate inclusive economic growth, particularly for underserved communities. And we also are supporting big bettors in the United States who want to expand economic opportunity. The Big Bets Fellowship is a 4-month leadership program that brings together an interdisciplinary cohort of emerging leaders to work together to solve some of America’s toughest challenges.
