Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.

83% Reputation

The information density is exceptionally high for an ecommerce site. Instead of fluff, the clean_text contains specific technical parameters like ‘frequency response up to 40,000 Hz’, ‘SPL, phase, distortion’, and ‘small and large signal parameters’. Marketing power words are secondary to technical nouns, with the exception of the meta description’s generic claim about items ‘costing far more.’

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

[H3] Android and iOS Applications

Some Dayton Audio products may offer enhanced functionality via one of the following installable applications on your electronic devices:

Matrio Control
Hi-Fly
Dayton Audio DSP Control

Product specific settings may be stored on your device, however no personal identifying information will be collected or shared with Dayton Audio.
Certain app features may request additional permissions on your device (for example, access to Wi-Fi or Location) to enable core functionality. Details for Matrio Control are provided below.

[H3] Location Permissions (Matrio Control – Android)

The Matrio Control app’s primary function is to discover and connect to Dayton Audio hardware (such as DAX88 / Matrix88) on the user’s local Wi-Fi network. To do this, the app must be able to scan for nearby Wi-Fi access points and read their network identifiers (such as SSIDs).
On Android 6.0 and newer, these Wi-Fi scanning actions are protected by the Android Location permission (for example, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION). As a result, Android may describe this permission as “Location” even though Matrio Control does not access your device’s GPS or otherwise determine your precise geographic location.

Matrio Control uses the Location permission only to:

Discover Dayton Audio devices on your local network
Maintain a reliable connection between the app and your hardware

Matrio Control does not:

Collect or store GPS coordinates or precise geographic location data
Track your movements or create a location history
Sell or share any location-related data with third parties for advertising or analytics

Any Wi-Fi network information obtained through this permission is processed on your device solely to support Matrio Control’s device discovery and connection features.

[H3] In Summary

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect on the site to make visiting Dayton Audio possible and to enhance your overall online experience. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. We pledge to all our customers to work diligently to protect the information gathered and to seek to use the latest web technologies to provide a safe private shopping experience.

Generic Claims: best prices online, free shipping on everything, satisfaction guaranteed or your money back, trusted by thousands, premium quality at affordable prices, the best selection online…
Red Flags: no business address or company registration, manufacturer stock photos as product images, prices dramatically below market with no explanation, no return policy or extremely restrictive terms, fake countdown timers and scarcity indicators, reviews that read as fabricated or templated…
Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage claims premium but product pages show dropshipped goods, claims handmade or artisan but product images are manufacturer stock, homepage says ethically sourced but no supply chain information, claims exclusive products but same items found on Amazon and AliExpress…
Proof Expectations: verifiable business registration and address, real product photographs not manufacturer stock images, third-party reviews on independent platforms (Trustpilot, Google), clear return and refund policy with process details, specific supply chain or sourcing information, customer service contact with response time commitments…
