The bolt is equipped with an M16-style extractor for positive extraction and reliable ejection. The Alpine CT comes standard with an externally adjustable TriggerTech field trigger and PEAK 44 picatinny rail.Weighing in at just 24 ounces, the Peak 44™ Bastion stock is the lightest production, vertical grip carbon fiber stock on the market. It features a comfortable ambidextrous palm swell and a substantial thumb groove to promote proper form while shooting. The forend features dual sling studs to allow the shooter multiple options when deciding on accessories. This upgraded stock allows shooters to comfortably and accurately shoot from all positions at the range and in the field.In the Alpine CT lines, the BSF barrel is threaded and comes with the all new directional self-timing brake. The receiver and muzzle brake are coated in a durable Cerakote® and the carbon fiber stock is hand-painted.Available in standard short and long actions, the Alpine CT not only offers some of Weatherby’s historic magnum cartridges but is also available in some of the most popular cartridges on the market.The Alpine CT is compatible with most after-market 700® platform parts, making it the most open platform in the Weatherby line-up. – December 11, 2025Can’t even believe what this firearm is capable of, I’m impressed with its performance, I’m one who doesn’t Reload therfore I chose to take leap of faith and purched a 7mm Backcountry, been to the range and bought all of Federals factory loads, and am impressed knowing that the 168 gn. Barnes LRX performance is bar none, my first group of three came on at .65″ with an average of 3,063 F.P.S., second group measured .341″ with an average speed of 3,052! I’ve been a seekins precision kinda of guy however, looks like I’m turning away from them and will be going this route with weatheryby! Thanks so much for producing such a fine firearm, keep up the great work!!Rated 5 out of 5

– November 1, 2025I was looking for a Weatherby Model 307 with a short barrel in 300 Win Mag. I use a suppressor and my other Weatherby Vanguard 300 Win Mag was just to unwieldy hunting in brushy areas. The Alpine CT fit the bill. I put a Leupold Gen2 VX5 on it and with my Bannish Meateater suppressor it balances out nicely. I did the Weatherby barrel break-in and shot a nice 1 1/4 inch 5 shot group with rounds 16-20 using Hornady Precision Hunter ELD-X 175 gr bullets without much waiting time between shots. I was impressed with the accuracy as my primary goal was just to break in the barrel and not worrying about zeroing in for a particular load. My next range visit i plan on finding what factory and handloads this rifle likes as the cleaning the bore every 3 shots for the first 15 and the last 5 takes a little time when you you are using a public range and during Cease Fire you can’t touch your rifle. This rifle checks off every box you want for a big game rifle. Light weight, super reduced recoil with the stock design and recoil pad. I will not use the muzzle break that comes with it as I already mentioned i use a suppressor. The overall barrel length with suppressor is just over 27 inches. The most important box is accuracy and as I stated earlier it already shoots less than the Weatherby less than an inch guarantee with a 3 shot group during barrel break-in when I was not letting the barrel cool down that much. Bottom line is this is a lot of gun for the money.Rated 5 out of 5

– October 30, 2025Favorite gun shop had one on the shelf in .308 with a 20” barrel ,so I bought it. Topped it with a Leupold VX5HD 3-15×44 Fire Dot . It loves Federal 168gr Hybrid Hunter , 3 shots almost in the same hole @ 100yds. Didn’t use muzzle break ( but very nice) wanted to keep it short for deer hunting out of blinds. Excellent quality. – July 31, 2025Really phenomenal rifle, I can’t believe how well this gun shoots. Got the 7PRC, with the Weatherby 177g Hammer ammo I have multiple 5 shot 100yd groups under 0.5″!!! That is beyond incredible for a factory gun with factory ammo, absolutely nuts when you consider it’s a sub-8 lb gun with the scope too (7lb 12oz total). First Weatherby rifle for me, certainly won’t be my last!

$1,999.00The Alpine™ ST is built on Weatherby®’s newest bolt-action rifle platform, the Model 307™. Meant to complement the historic Mark V® and Vanguard® lineups, the Model 307 action is a 2-lug, fully cylindrical action compatible with many aftermarket accessories. Model 307 is designed to accommodate the vast offerings of stocks, triggers, rails, and mounts that exist in today’s marketplace. Weatherby teamed up with PEAK 44 to produce an ultra-light rifle that can own the range and dominate in the field. The PEAK 44 Bastion stock weighs in at 24 ounces and uses a proprietary 3D-Hex recoil pad to reduce the effects of recoil. The lightweight, spiral fluted barrel delivers unmatched accuracy and comes with Weatherby’s recoil-reducing Accubrake ST.

Through years of innovation and testing, the Model 307 action features a bolt that was designed to have a tool-less disassembly, allowing hunters and shooters to easily field strip their bolt if needed. The bolt is equipped with an M16-style extractor for positive extraction and reliable ejection. The bolt is spiral-fluted and the handle skeletonized to reduce weight. The Alpine ST comes standard with an externally adjustable TriggerTech field trigger for crisp and consistent trigger pulls.Weighing in at just 24 ounces, the Peak 44™ Bastion stock is the lightest production, vertical grip carbon fiber stock on the market. It features a comfortable ambidextrous palm swell and a substantial thumb groove to promote proper form while shooting. The forend features dual sling studs to allow the shooter multiple options when deciding on accessories. This upgraded stock allows shooters to comfortably and accurately shoot from all positions at the range and in the field.The steel barrel is spiral-fluted to reduce weight, increase rigidity, and add surface area to help cool the barrel faster than traditional barrels. The Alpine ST comes with the recoil-reducing Accubrake ST. All Weatherby rifles are guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot SUB-MOA group at 100 yards with factory-loaded ammunition.The receiver, barrel, bolt, and bottom metal are coated in a durable Cerakote to help reduce corrosion even in the harshest of conditions.Available in standard short and long actions, the Alpine ST not only offers some of Weatherby’s historic magnum cartridges but is also available in some of the most popular cartridges on the market.The Alpine ST is compatible with most after-market 700® platform parts, making it the most open platform in the Weatherby line-up.
