RNG supply

Clean Energy manages one of the largest RNG supply portfolios, with production facilities of various sizes and scale at landfills and dairy farms across North America. Our robust supply volumes ensure transportation customers receive predictable supply throughout our fueling network. In 2024 alone, we delivered 236 million gallons of RNG to the U.S. transportation market. Of that, 128 million gallons were used in California, accounting for more than 50% of the total RNG consumed in the state’s natural gas vehicle fuel market. Not only is our portfolio one of the largest, but it also includes some of the lowest carbon intensity RNG in the market, which the largest fleets in the nation rely for meeting their sustainability goals.

Station design, engineering, & construction

Depending on your fueling needs, it may be beneficial to build your own station. We offer complete station integration services to design, construct, and commission your fueling stations and facilities. With over 30 years of experience across all types of fueling (fast-fill and time-fill), and all forms of natural gas: compressed (CNG), liquified (LNG), and a combination of the two (LCNG), we can tailor a solution to best fit the needs of your operations.

We have the largest technical support team in the industry with over 150 service technicians, all of whom are Clean Energy employed, local, trained, certified, and on-call 24/7/365. We also keep over $20M in critical spare parts inventory stored in Clean Energy warehouses throughout North America to reduce any repair or maintenance downtime. Our full-service partnership provides complete station and equipment management, including remote, round-the-clock monitoring; regular safety and quality inspections; preventative maintenance; and timely, expert repair.

We’ve partnered with the Alternative Fuels Vehicle Institute (AFVi)© to develop a comprehensive customer care program called Touchpoint. Touchpoint is designed to make the operational transition to natural gas vehicles as easy and seamless as possible by providing a training platform for fleet managers, supervisors, and technicians. Touchpoint ensures all details are properly coordinated for a successful vehicle launch and provides on-going support through the first year of operation.

Mobile RNG fueling

If you’re looking for immediate, flexible, or temporary RNG fueling solutions, particularly when permanent station infrastructure is either unavailable or under construction, Clean Energy can deliver RNG to your fleet. RNG will be delivered to your site in tube trailers and connected directly to on‑site compressors and dispensers, functioning just like a traditional fueling station but without the need for pipeline access.
