[H4] Localised is the commercial arm of Zero Waste Aotearoa - a network that has over 120 members working in the resource recovery sector throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
We are working to increase the number of community-led resource recovery enterprises and projects operating across Aotearoa.

In doing so, we are providing capability development to local community organisations by sharing our knowledge and skills, and walking alongside rather than just being advisors or mentors.As zero waste joint venture partners we are focused on unlocking solutions. We are happy to work with anyone when our values align including councils, central government, waste companies, consulting firms, and community enterprises.

[H4] Working with Localised allows councils, enterprises and communities to leverage their in depth experience of the community resource recovery sector.

Localised has the governance structure, management capability, and financial support to be able to grow at pace over the next five years bringing structure, a consistent approach to operations including Health & Safety to help councils and communities with their waste management and minimisation.

Localised’s model is designed to make things as easy as possible for local authorities to achieve ‘broader outcomes’.
