Do I need to activate my Ticketmaster Gift Card?

Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards are activated at the time of purchase. If you have received a Gift Card from one of our corporate partners, your card will have already been activated for your convenience.

Can multiple Ticketmaster Gift Cards be bought in one order?

Yes. Once you have selected the first Gift Card, there is a button at the bottom of the screen (next to the "Go to payment" button), which says "add another Gift Card". You can add as many Gift Cards as you want, up to the maximum order value of €1000.

If you want to order Gift Cards worth more than €1000 and pay by invoice, please contact giftcards@ticketmaster.ie so we can help you with your order.

Can I send a personal message with my Ticketmaster Gift Card?

Yes, you will be given the option to write a personal message when purchasing your Gift Card. Your message will be included with your order.

Can I send a Greetings Card with my Ticketmaster Gift Card?

If you order a physical Gift Card from our website, you have the option to add a personal message. This is included with the Gift Card in a Ticketmaster branded card/wallet.

What is a Ticketmaster e-Gift Card?

Ticketmaster e-Gift Cards are great last minute gifts. Instead of waiting for a physical Gift Card to be sent through the post, we'll email the e-Gift Card details directly to the recipient. We can do it straight away, or you can choose a specific date – it's completely up to you.

How long does it take to receive a Ticketmaster e-Gift Card?

The e-Gift Card will be sent within two hours to the specified email address. If it's not received, it's worth checking the spam/junk folder. If it still hasn't been received, please email voucherexpress@ticketmastergiftcard.com, and include your order reference so we can find your order.

Can I amend the email address that I have sent a Ticketmaster e-Gift Card to?

Yes. There's a link for you to amend the email address yourself in the order confirmation email (that you receive when you place an order). Just update the email address and resend the e-Gift Card. If you can't amend the address yourself, or if you need any assistance, please email voucherexpress@ticketmastergiftcard.com, and include your order reference so we can find your order.

If my Ticketmaster e-Gift Card doesn’t arrive what should I do?

The first thing to do is check the spam folder on the email account to which your e-Gift Card was sent. If you still can't see the email, you can resend the e-Gift Card yourself by using the link in the order confirmation email (that you receive when you place an order). If you are still having issues you can try amending the address that the e-Gift Card is being sent to, or you can contact voucherexpress@ticketmastergiftcard.com for assistance. Remember to include your order reference so we can find your order.

Can I cancel/refund my Ticketmaster Gift Card purchase if I change my mind?

Yes. Refunds are available for unused Gift Cards up to 14 days after purchase.

Where can I find my Ticketmaster Gift Card number?

The Gift Card number is the long number in the middle on the back of your physical Gift Card. For an e-Gift Card, the Gift Card number will be contained in the PDF that you receive by email once you follow the link to collect your e-Gift Card.

Where can I find my 3-digit security number/PIN?

The security number/PIN is on the back of your physical Gift Card, on the right. For your security it will be covered with a scratch panel which you should only remove when you are ready to redeem your Gift Card.

For an e-Gift Card, the security number/PIN will be contained in the PDF that you receive by email once you follow the link to collect your e-Gift Card.

What events can my Ticketmaster Gift Card be redeemed for?

Ticketmaster Gift Cards can be redeemed for events sold on our own websites, tickets sold on partner websites with their own checkouts may not have the ability to process our Gift Cards.

Where can my Ticketmaster Gift Card be redeemed?

The Ticketmaster Gift Cards can be used as full or part payment in the purchase of tickets, and many of the associated services and merchandise sold online at Ticketmaster.

How do I redeem my Ticketmaster Gift Card on the Ticketmaster website?

Select the tickets for your event and proceed to the checkout page. On the checkout please select Gift Card as the method of payment. Enter the 16-digit Gift Card number, and the 3-digit security number/PIN. If there is still an outstanding balance once you have entered your Gift Card, you can either enter another Gift Card or select another method of payment (credit/debit card), until the total balance is cleared, and the booking is complete.

Yes, just select Gift Card as a method of payment when checking out, just as you would on the Ticketmaster website.

Can my Ticketmaster Gift Card be used on TicketWeb?

Unfortunately, this is not currently possible. The TicketWeb website and checkout are separate to Ticketmaster, and we are therefore currently unable to accept Ticketmaster Gift Card's on TicketWeb.

Mobile tickets are easier, safer and better than print-outs or paper tickets. Here are some answers to questions that are often asked.

Can I use a screenshot of my ticket to enter an event?

No. A mobile ticket must be provided either within the app, the mobile website or your phone's wallet to gain entry. Additionally, you can't forward tickets using a screenshot.

I'm worried about my phone service when trying to access my ticket, what do I do?

Don’t get caught out by phone signal, make sure you view your ticket in the Ticketmaster App in advance and add to your phone’s mobile wallet.

How do I list and sell my tickets with Ticketmaster?

Sign in to My Account, click My Tickets then select See Details next to your event.
Click the Sell button*.
Select and price the ticket(s) you'd like to sell.
Tell us how you'd like to get paid.
Review your listing and you're all set.

*Some events may not allow their tickets to be resold — this decision is made by the Event Organizer.

Why can’t my ticket be sold/Why is resale unavailable?

Not all events or ticket types are approved for resale by the Event Organiser — they have the discretion to change resale options at any time. If resale is not available, you'll see a message detailing that the Event Organiser has not enabled resale for your event, and therefore selling your tickets on Ticketmaster is not an option. Additionally, fans can only resell Ticketmaster tickets, via Ticketmaster. In order to maintain the authenticity and security of tickets, fans cannot resell tickets that have been previously purchased through resale.

How do I remove a listing?

If you’re removing a listing using the Ticketmaster app, follow these steps:

Sign in to My Account
Tap My Events
Tap your event to view your tickets
Tap Cancel Listing
Confirm and complete

If you're removing a listing on Ticketmaster.ie, follow these steps:

Sign in to My Account
Select your ticket
Click Cancel Listing
Confirm and complete

How do I edit a listing?

To edit a listing you must cancel and re-list via the steps above.

How and when do I get paid after selling my tickets?

To check on the status of your posted tickets, just sign in to My Account. We will also automatically notify you via email if your tickets are sold. To get paid for the tickets you sell, there are a few important steps you’ll want to follow. Make sure your account is up to date with a.) a valid method of payment and b.) a valid card on file to refund the buyer in case the event is postponed or canceled.

After completing these steps, you’ll be paid typically within 17 days.

Do I have to pay a set-up fee to list my tickets?

Creating a listing to sell your tickets is always free. When your tickets are sold, a service fee is collected from the total selling price of your tickets. During the listing process you’ll be able to preview all listing details including the service fee.

My ticket cannot be listed for resale at the price I want. Why?

For some events, the Event Organizer has placed price restrictions on the resale of tickets. When the Event Organizer places price restrictions on resale tickets, your resale price per ticket cannot fall outside of the minimum or maximum set. If it does, you’ll see an alert notifying you to change your price.
