The Signature Series rope line includes a selection of the best performing rope in each of the Glider, Pinnacle and Airliner series ropes. These ropes have the top of the line features in each category and the goal is to put them in one place, at and in, your fingertips.
Each of the Signature Series ropes have MAXIM’s legendary durability and contain our Endura 2X-Dry treatment, which meets the UIAA Dry certification. The Signature Glider and Pinnacle also come with easily identifiable bi-patterns and our TPT sheath construction (a smoother and more supple jacket resulting in less friction and better handling). The Signature Airliner is triple certified as a single, twin and half rope.
While the root of the Signature Series is to consolidate our top of the line features, it also gives climbers a platform with which to climb lighter and faster. Starting with a 9.9mm rope, transition down to a 9.4mm rope and eventually down to a 9.1mm rope. In the process, climbers will lose about 2.2bs (1kg) of rope drag.

[H2] About MAXIM Dynamic Ropes
[H6] Dynamic climbing ropes are the most important piece of gear you have, because they keep you from hitting the ground. Their high elongation absorbs most of the shock in a fall, thereby taking the load off of your body and your anchors. MAXIM ropes are made of 100% high quality nylon and feature a kernmantle construction with twisted nylon cores and a braided nylon cover. MAXIM’s long lasting dynamic climbing lines are designed as a compact rope with high-energy absorption. Each of our dynamic climbing lines offers excellent handling, superior abrasion resistance and high durability.

[H3] Special features of MAXIM dynamic ropes
The core of every dynamic MAXIM Climbing rope is dry treated with our special Endura DRY treatment process, including our indoor gym ropes. This is for the ultimate level of safety protection since nylon loses a lot of strength when wet. In addition, for maximum water-repellency, selected models also feature Endura 2x-DRY and have both a dry core and a specially treated dry cover. Those ropes fulfill the requirements of UIAA water-repellency.
Our Pinnacle and Glider series also feature MAXIM’s TPT (Twill Pattern Technology) which aligns the sheath yarns with the direction the rope moves through your protection. This dramatically reduces rope drag and provides for buttery rappels.
The Chalk Line gym ropes also feature our Str8 Jacket technology, in which we tightly weave the sheath around a mid-sheath which grips the core. These are the longest lasting gym ropes on the planet.

[H3] Standards for dynamic climbing ropes
Dynamic climbing ropes are generally certified in three categories; single ropes, half ropes and twin ropes. All of them are certified to the European Standard EN 892 and the international standard UIAA 101. Within these standards, the rope’s construction, sheath slippage, static and dynamic elongation, maximum impact force at first fall as well as the minimum number of falls a rope has to withstand are regulated. The MAXIM® Airliner is ultra-light, ultra-skinny and perfect for quick ascents with long pitches,
multi-day climbs or areas with long approaches. The Airliner is an indestructible rope
that is triple certified as a single, twin and half rope. Using this skinny climbing rope is the
quickest way to save some weight.
All Airliner ropes a regular rope pattern which gives them very high durability and great grip. The Airliner is incredibly durable while super skinny. It is the perfect choice for expert level climbers. All the ropes will be coiled in our "ready climb" coil making them usable right out of the package.
Additionally, our Airliner ropes feature our 2x-DRY treatment, which means that we dry treat the core and the sheath for superior water-repellency. This level of treatment meets the UIAA Dry standard.
