Semantic Coherence — The Lens

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Semantic Coherence Homepage promise vs. Sub-page reality.

90% Reputation

There is virtually zero semantic drift between the homepage signal and sub-page delivery. The homepage promises heritage and local produce, and the Menus page immediately delivers on this by naming the specific markets (Smithfield) and suppliers. The Terrace and Cocktails pages maintain this localized Irish focus, supporting the primary brand identity of being proud custodians of a historical space. Heading hierarchy is mostly logical, though the repetitive [H2] BOOK NOW markers are slightly disruptive.

Semantic Coherence is read from the heading hierarchy first: what each page announces in its H1 and headings, then whether the body actually delivers on it. Below is the structure the engine mapped, followed by the clean text to check for drift between promise and reality.

H3 Work on this magnificent building, Mallin Railway Station, began in 1836. Commissioned by the Dublin and Kingstown Railway under Architect John Skipton Mulvaney, the build took nearly 20 years and the work was completed in 1853. This building remained in use as the Kingstown/Dun Laoghaire Station until 1971 when the new station was built and the original ticket hall was converted to Restaurant Na Mara/Brasserie Na Mara. Over the next 35 years, CIE wound down their Hospitality and Catering Wing with the sale of the Great Southern Hotels and the closure of Brasserie Na Mara. Hartleys opened in 2007. Housed in this magnificent Victorian building, we see ourselves as proud custodians of a slice of Dun Laoghaire history, and consider it an honour to fill this space.
