Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.

The site exhibits a dual nature in its text density. Headings like [H2] Mezcal Espadín and technical body text describing wild fermentation in open air vats provide high substance. However, this is diluted by high-fluff passages such as [The soul of Montelobos Mezcal is like the spirit of the wolf] and [The way of the wolf], which utilize power words (loyal, brave, rebellious) without providing measurable value. The body substance ratio is saved by the inclusion of specific agave species (A. cupreata, A. potatorum) and the technical background of Ivan Saldaña, PhD in Botany.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

The Wayof theWolf

Loyal, brave, rebellious. The soul of Montelobos Mezcal is like the spirit of the wolf, protector of the night, loyal, instinctual and brave. Montelobos is forged in the lands of Oaxaca and Puebla to tell the story of our tradition and our community, still surrounded by the mystery of its rituals.
Everything about Mezcal – from the early morning harvests to the blazing fires to the hard stone- is powerful and ritualistic. A rebellious spirit at heart, that draws rebellious characters to it.Montelobos Mezcal was created by agave specialist Ivan Saldaña, PhD in Botany, and agave specialist Don Abel López Mateos, a fifth generation mezcalero. Saldaña’s vision was to create a mezcal with a mosaic of balance and complexity that celebrates the characteristics of the agave plant. His ambition was that anyone tasting it could discover something new every time in the distinctive and layered spirit.

[H2] FOR THE PLANET, FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON
We are always investing in researching and designing more efficient wood utilisation, waste treatment and composting systems for the future. In our production plant, we currently compost our vinasa and fiber residues, mixing them together. As producers, we have also taken innovative measures to improve the design of our palenque so that not only is there less waste in the environment, but also the workers or palenqueros produce in less tiring conditions. Finally, all our mezcals are kosher certified.
