We have been made aware that some of our upcoming guests received a Whatsapp message requesting guest verification.
We kindly ask all guests to remain vigilant when receiving any emails or Whatsapp messages requesting payment or guest verification.
Do not click on any links and please disregard such communications.
Please note: We never accept online payments for bookings.
All bookings are still in place. All payments for restaurant and accommodation bookings are taken at the restaurant, in person, by our front of house staff.
Also, all verifications/confirmations of bookings are carried over over the phone by our reservation team. Please note that they will never ask for any additional information and only look to confirm you are still attending the restaurant on your booking date.
Again, we only accept payments in person at the time of your visit to our restaurant.

For that special gift why not treat yourself or your loved one to a MacNean Restaurant Gift Card. It can be used as payment against any meals or accommodation at MacNean Restaurant, the purchase of personally autographed books by Neven and as payment against any cookery course in the Neven Maguire Cookery School.
All Gift Cards are valid for a period of 5 years and cannot be honoured beyond this 5 year period.
It should be noted that there is currently a high demand for bookings, particularly for those that include both dinner with accommodation. The restaurant and guesthouse are open from Tuesday through to Saturday, with Friday and Saturday evenings in particular booking far in advance.
All Gift Cards are sent by post as we unfortunately do not offer an E-Voucher service. Gift vouchers can be posted to addresses within the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. If you wish to have a gift voucher posted internationally, please contact our office directly on 071 9853022, as extra postal charges will apply.
Please note: we only include personalised messages if the Gift Card is not being posted directly to the billing address. All messages are handwritten inside the Gift Voucher sleeve.
