At On the Pig’s Back, we proudly produce our own range of artisan pâtés, terrines, and cooked meats, handmade in small batches at our production kitchen in Douglas, Cork.
Since opening our original stall in the English Market in 1992, we’ve been celebrated for our dedication to farmhouse cheeses, high-quality charcuterie (retail only), and our multi award-winning homemade specialities.
Our Douglas café, opened in 2009, is where we craft these products using:
Free-range Irish meats
Locally sourced ingredients wherever possible
Traditional techniques inspired by classic French methods
Our pâtés and terrines have received numerous accolades at the Blas na hÉireann and Great Taste Awards, reflecting our passion for flavour, authenticity, and uncompromising quality.
