Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
15 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
50% Reputation

The site suffers from massive heading fluff saturation, specifically with the H2 REFRESHINGLY UNIQUE and hit the refresh tags being repeated 8 times each on the homepage without unique context. However, the body substance ratio is redeemed by specific technical details such as 8.5% alc/vol for Strong Citrus and 99 calories for Zero Sugar variants. The story page provides a concrete historical timeline (1952 Summer Games) which provides more substance than typical beverage marketing. Despite this, the repetitive calls-to-action create a high noise-to-signal ratio.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

📝 The Narrative — clean text per page (the substance-vs-filler signal)

[H1] The Story
[H2] The Legend of 1952
[IMG: Image of track runners from the 1952 olympics]
[IMG: Image of participants from the 1952 olympics]
Our story begins in Finland in 1952. The country was still recovering from World War II and was preparing to host the 1952 Summer Games. Wanting to welcome global visitors, but concerned with how to serve them drinks fast enough, the government commissioned the creation of a refreshing and revolutionary new liquor drink, and thus the first long drinks were born. This has since evolved into an enormously popular category of alcohol in Finland.

[H2] Miles Teller
Soon after Long Drink launched in the US, Miles Teller stopped into a bodega in his old Lower East Side neighborhood where the founders of Long Drink were having a tasting event. Miles loved the drink so much that he decided to invest in the brand a few months later.Favorite flavor: Traditional Citrus
[H2] Kygo
Not long after, Miles invited his friend Kygo to DJ his wedding. There, Kygo tried The Long Drink for the first time. Being Norwegian, the concept of a long drink was not new to him, but the quality of the product was so undeniable that he decided to become a part of the family.Favorite flavor: Cranberry
[H2] Rickie Fowler
The Long Drink train just kept rolling from there. Kygo introduced it to Professional golfer Rickie Fowler, who loved the crisp, refreshing taste and didn't want to be left out of such a great opportunity, so he too joined the team.Favorite flavor: Traditional Citrus

🧭 Industry Context — common generic-claim patterns in Food, Restaurants & Delivery to weigh the text against
Generic Claims: the best food in town, authentic flavors, made with love, quality ingredients, unforgettable dining, a culinary journey…
Red Flags: no food hygiene rating displayed, stock food photography, locally sourced claims without naming any supplier, award claims without verifiable source, menu without prices, no allergen information available…
Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage claims fine dining but menu prices are casual, claims locally sourced but no suppliers named, homepage shows plated dishes but delivery menu is different items, claims authentic cuisine but menu is fusion with no cultural specificity…
Proof Expectations: food hygiene rating displayed, named ingredient suppliers and sources, chef background and culinary credentials, real food photography not stock images, current menu with accurate pricing, allergen and dietary information…
