Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
24 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
80% Reputation

The site exhibits high substance-to-fluff ratios. Body text includes specific technical data such as 4.5% ABV and 12 IBU for the Traditional Lager, along with exact historical milestones like the 1987 recipe revival. While H2 headings like ‘The Iconic American Lager’ use power words, they are immediately anchored by specific product descriptions and nutritional facts (141 Calories, 12 Carbs).

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

[H2] The IconicAmerican Lager
When this 19th-century Yuengling recipe was revived in 1987, it quickly became a sensation and remains the flagship of Yuengling’s portfolio. Inspired by the German-style lagers of Bavaria, this uniquely American classic features a rich caramelized flavor and deep amber color. Brewed with American Cascade and Cluster hops and crafted with a lighter body, it delivers exceptional balance and refreshment.

[H2] Light Lager
Masterfully brewed to maintain a roasted malt flavor profile and smooth, crisp finish inspired by our Traditional Lager, this medium-flavored amber light lager is ideal for those who don’t want to compromise on taste when choosing a low-calorie, low-carb beer. Those who won’t settle for just any light beer ask for a Yuengling Light Lager.

[H2] FLIGHT
FLIGHT was brewed for today’s active lifestyle beer drinker. Crafted for those who want balance without compromise, FLIGHT is remarkably low in carbs and calories while still delivering the great taste, smooth flavor, and crisp refreshment beer drinkers expect from a quality lager. It’s a premium light beer backed by nearly 200 years of Yuengling brewing experience.

[H2] Black & Tan
Inspired by the English pub tradition of the “half & half” pour, this dark beer combines 60% Yuengling Porter, which is lager-brewed like a Baltic Porter, with 40% of our pale Premium Lager. The result is a beer that’s loaded with the satisfying roasted coffee flavors found in porters and stouts, but with the clean finish of a cold-fermented lager.

[H2] Golden Pilsner
Born in 2018, this beer is the product of Yuengling’s six generations and nearly two centuries of German-style brewing. This outstanding modern pilsner is pale gold in color and clean in flavor, with a snappy hop bite that will stimulate your appetite as it quenches your thirst.

[H2] Lord Chesterfield Ale
Brewed since 1829, Yuengling Lord Chesterfield Ale® has as much rich heritage as it does flavor and appeal. Crafted in a unique two-stage European brewing style for enhanced bitterness, it utilizes both conventional kettle hopping and dry hopping after fermentation, resulting in a dry sharp finish. Its distinct robust flavor is derived from a delicate combination of sweet maltiness and lingering herbal bitterness.

[H2] Premium
Yuengling Premium is a pilsner-style brew, gold in color with a pale malt character that finishes crisp and clean. Premium blends both two-row and six-row barley malt for thirst-quenching taste. A regional favorite, it delivers a well-balanced flavor with slight traces of hop aroma that is always refreshing.

[H2] Premium Light
Yuengling Premium Light maintains a well-balanced character of malt and hops for a crisp, satisfying finish with only 98 calories per serving and a lower 3.5% ABV. Drawing from traditional brewing techniques, Premium Light is brewed longer to reduce the sugar content and produce fewer calories. Its pale golden color is complemented by a light-bodied flavor.

[H2] Bongo Fizz
The latest innovation from America’s Oldest Brewery, first introduced in 2022, BONGO FIZZ is light, refreshing, and crisp. This premium-style beer embodies tropical relaxation, finishing with a juicy burst of natural mango flavor that makes every sip feel like a trip to the beach.

[H2] Dark Brewed Porter
This beer has been brewed since 1829 using generous helpings of caramel and dark roasted malts to create a rich, creamy taste with hints of dark chocolate. Carefully lager-brewed for a smooth character, it offers a balanced body and refreshing finish that makes it a truly distinctive Yuengling brew.
