Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
21 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
70% Reputation

The site maintains a high substance-to-fluff ratio by citing specific clinical equipment such as the ‘Impressionist 3D Video Measurement’ and the ‘Zeiss Humphrey field machine.’ However, it loses points for metaphorical headings like [H3] ‘See beneath the surface’ and [H4] ‘Unlock your potential,’ which lean into marketing abstraction. The body text is highly specific, detailing exact prices for the ‘Advanced Examination (£70)’ and ‘Enhanced Examination (£55),’ which is a rare substance-heavy trait in healthcare.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

SUB-PAGE (https://eyesentials.com/oct-eye-scan/) What is an OCT Eye Scan? Ocular Coherence Tomography
[H1] OCT
eye scanningAt Eyesentials we have always invested in the very latest technology to help us identify sight threatening conditions as early as possible.

In 2004 we got our first retinal camera allowing us to view photographs of the retina in great detail. Optical technology continues to move forward and in 2011 we got our retinal scanner (OCT) before any other optician in Leyland.
What happens during an OCT scan?An OCT - Ocular Coherence Tomography - is an advanced eye scan for people of all ages. It enables us to look inside the retina and allows us to identify sight threatening changes even earlier than with a retinal photograph alone.

An OCT scanner uses waves of light to take images of your retina, providing an image of the layers that make up your retina. Our optometrist can measure the thickness of these layers and note any gradual changes over time that may indicate early signs of eye conditions.

An OCT scan can detect eye conditions like:

glaucoma
age-related macular degeneration
diabetic retinopathy
disorders of the optic nerve.

Even if your eyes appear healthy, we can use an OCT scan to take a baseline image, making it much easier to diagnose, treat and manage these potentially sight-threatening conditions.

Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage claims specialist expertise but services page is general practice, claims evidence-based but promotes unproven treatments, homepage targets complex conditions but offerings are routine screenings, claims NHS and private but private is the only visible option…
Proof Expectations: CQC registration and rating, GMC or relevant professional registration for all practitioners, named specialist qualifications and training, published fees and pricing transparency, specific conditions treated with evidence-based protocols, insurance panel and self-pay information…
