Posting of annual data significantly earlier than the government
Prospective patients can locate a clinic near them by miles and/or zip code as well as evaluate sub‐categories of results by diagnosis and age
Interactive data‐ the query function allows SART members to view their own data, perform QA analysis of subsets of data for age, implantation rate, etc. and then compare their individual clinics results to the national dataset
Access to data for research
Access to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s) to assist members in meeting the FDA regulations

Requirements for SART Membership

Annual submission of cycle-specific clinic outcome data to the SART Registry, verified by Medical Director, with permission to disclose such data to the public and to allow data to be validated. Approximately 8-10% of reporting clinics are validated each year.
Accreditation of the Embryology Laboratory every two years by CAP or Joint Commission.
The Medical Director of any new practice must be REI subspecialty certified by ABOG, an active candidate for subspecialty certification, or grandfathered in by having been Medical Director of a SART member practice prior to 1/1/00.
Effective January 1, 2006, all ART Laboratory Directors must meet uniform criteria. Physicians not currently Lab Directors must complete the RE fellowship training in the Lab Director track, attain sufficient hands-on experience to meet ASRM/SART guidelines and pass a certification exam administered by ABB. Nondoctoral lab directors and physicians serving as Lab Directors prior to l/l/06 may continue to serve in this capacity. Nondoctoral Lab Directors need to have been serving as director prior to July 20,1999.
Adherence to all ASRM/SART Guidelines including ethical, practice, advertising, and laboratory.
Fulfillment of all financial obligations regarding dues and fees.
Continued provision of IVF services. Active members must perform a minimum of 20 follicular aspirations and/or transfers annually.

5 Simple Steps to SART Individual Membership

[H3] Follow these 5 simple steps to sign up for SART Individual Membership:
Go to https://store.asrm.org and Log In with your Log In ID and Password. If you have any questions about your Log In Credentials contact SART.
Once successfully logged in, your home page will appear. On the left-hand side of the screen, click My Addresses.
Under Address Type, choose Work.  Enter your Company Name, State, and Country.  Then click Find My Company.  A list of choices will appear. Select the one that matches your clinic, Update My Membership Information. Simply scroll down to 3. Work Address Main.
Click Continue.  You may now decide if you want to make this Work address your main employer's address, your main address, or if you want to include it in the ASRM Member Directory.
Click Save.
Congratulations you are now a SART Individual member! Please note, if you have left any required fields blank, you will be instructed to complete them at this time and will need to click Save once more.
