An experienced and professionally qualified engineer will service your boiler in accordance with the following schedule:
Check boiler performance, flue and ventilation
Visually check all components for water leaks
Full inspection for damaged or worn components
Visually inspect burner and heat exchanger for deposits, clean accordingly
Visually check for satisfactory ignition, flame picture and stability
Check flame failure device, check and adjust burner pressure
Fully check operation of boiler and controls
Check expansion vessel and reset pressure accordingly
Carry out a flue gas combustion analysis

Repair & Care is a maintenance & support plan for your broken-down boiler, providing a one-off repair (where repairable) and then ongoing maintenance and support for your boiler and controls, to help ensure they continue to work correctly and to minimise the chances of mechanical and electrical breakdown. It is provided by Domestic & General Services Limited.
If you have taken out a Repair & Care plan, you have a no fix no fee promise. If the expert engineer can’t fix the initial fault or if the boiler is beyond economic repair, you’ll get a full refund of any monies paid up until that point – no questions asked.

A system boiler is a boiler that is installed on a sealed central heating system. As the word suggests it is not open to atmospheric pressure and the system is kept within a closed circuit.

[H3] Energy-related Products (ErP) and how it affects you.
Since September 2015 ErP legislation has been compulsory and requires all plumbing and heating appliances, including boilers, water heaters and renewable products, to have an energy label present.
Controls increase the energy efficiency of a heating system which is represented by an ‘uplift’ in the overall efficiency of the system. The uplift can range from 1% – 5% depending on how efficient the control is, with intelligent controls such as Vokèra’s outside weather compensation control and BeSMART, having a larger uplift than other non-intelligent controls.
When an appliance is fitted, the installer will be responsible for affixing the label and working out the system efficiency for you. However, the legislation allows you, the homeowner, to easily compare the energy efficiency of products in your home, allowing you to reduce energy consumption.
