The Inn on the Coast Portrush is situated on the Causeway Coastal Route between the beautiful harbour towns of Portrush and Portstewart in County Antrim.
Our 30 hotel bedrooms are very spacious, comprising of at least a king size and a single bed in each, with many rooms offer wonderful sea views of the North Antrim coastline and the surrounding countryside.
Our recently refurbished traditional pub and restaurant is the perfect place to relax and meet up with family and friends whilst enjoying some local dishes and maybe a drink or two!
Free Wi-Fi is available to all our patrons throughout the Hotel and we will be showing many key sporting features live in the pub throughout the year.

The Hotel is based approximately midway between the harbour towns of Portrush and Portstewart. With stunning coastal walks to either, both towns offer lots of local cafes, small shops and a lively night life.
The University town of Coleraine is a only short drive away and offers many opportunities for cultural excursions and shopping.

The Inn on the Coast Hotel has been Pet Friendly since opening its doors in 2012 and the demand for Pet Friendly rooms has over-exceeded any of our expectations.
The Inn has 10 elected Pet Friendly rooms (they are normally the first to go, so book early to avoid disappointment). All Pet Friendly Rooms are on the Ground Floor of the Hotel for easy access to go out to the toilet. We have a designated section in our Pub where you and your pooch can enjoy a few drinks or some live entertainment in the summer evenings. There are also special dining arrangements if you wish to bring your dog to breakfast in the morning. In addition, we have alfresco seating arrangements in our Beer Garden, perfect for spending those warm summer days with your best Bud, after a long walk around the Coastline which is right on our doorstep; follow it for ten minutes and you will find Portrush’s West Strand beach.
The team here at the Inn are all barking mad and are usually better at remembering Doggy names than their owner. And what makes the pooches experience exceptional is how much all our staff fuss over them and make them feel welcome. This in turn has produced so many regular guests, of varying shapes and sizes; we accept them all from Tea-cup Yorkies to Great Danes.
We allow a maximum two dogs per room with a one off charge of £30.00 per stay. Pet friendly rooms must be stated at the time of booking and these rooms can only be guaranteed when booked direct with the hotel. Please Click Here For Pet Friendly Terms & Conditions.
When staying overnight at the hotel with your dog(s) we ask that you bring their bedding, crates, bowls, toys etc. to make them feel extra comfortable in what can be a strange environment to them.

[H1] Inn On The Coast Location
The Inn On The Coast is located on the western edge of Portrush on the main coast road towards Portstewart, with wonderful and uninterputed views over the Atlantic Ocean, Donegal, Portrush’s Ramore Head and harbour.
[H3] Getting to the hotel
By Road from the North:
From Belfast head onto the M2 along the A26 to Ballymoney, B62 to Portrush onto A2 Coast Road, following signs for Portrush, take first exit onto the Crocknamack Road, at end of this road, take left at roundabout and then immediately right. (Following signs for Portstewart). Inn on the coast in is approx. 1.5 miles on your left hand side.
By Road from the West:
A2 Derry to Coleraine, A29 Coleraine to Portrush (Atlantic Road leading onto Coleraine Road. At Roundabout take 1st left following signs for Portstewart. Inn on the coast in is approx. 1.5 miles on your left hand side.
