This grove is surrounded by an undulating wild meadow with an open flat pasture below perched on a ledge of land overlooking the turrets of the infamous Slane Castle. From here you drop down to a secret bathing spot on the mighty but languid River Boyne. This is Ancient land. This is Ireland.

About UsRock Farm Slane is a glamping, ecotourism and activity centre and organic farm on the Slane Castle estate stretching for 1.5km along the banks of the River Boyne. Whilst we operate as a self-catering campsite there are some options we can offer groups – one less thing to worry about and we will have ready for your arrival. We have a large BBQ area for you to cook your food as well as a handmade CLAY OVEN perfect for FRESHLY BAKED PIZZA. We also have a large gas hob inside the kitchen of Le Shack for your food prep too. Prefer to self cater? – Just come prepared with your own food and make use of the facilities on site. Contact Us

CateringRock Farm Slane is a working organic farm, and we provide all the catering onsite. We have a range of menus from BBQ Mixed Grill and Pig on a Spit to a Four course menu with Vegetarian and Vegan options available.A buffet style menu is perfect if you are looking for a relaxed and informal atmosphere. FAQs Contact Us Glamping at Rock Farm Slane The luxury Eco Glamping is nestled on a beautiful hillside overlooking Slane Castle, enclosed in a secret grove of parkland trees overlooking meadows and the demesne woodlands on the North bank of the River Boyne. The Glamping boasts quick access to the beautiful Boyne Meadow along the River Boyne and the Boyne Navigation Ramparts Walk below which will take you into Slane or along the river to Navan. The parkland surrounding the boutique campsite is a designated Natural Heritage Area and Special Area of Conservation and includes an interesting bird population (herons, cormorants, egrets) and a thriving population of Irish hares who are often seen leaping across the field on their way to neighbouring pasture or woodland.
