There were no instruction in the box and what I didn't notice immediately was the strip of 6 rubber bungs which needed to be attached to the round holes in the guard - they had dropped onto the floor when I opened the bag and I missed them to start with. I found them later and realised what they were for so reassembled everything with them in place.
So far, after 2 weeks and 500-ish miles, everything is working perfectly with no issues at all. The guard works well, doesn't block the airflow enough to make any difference and it looks neat and tidy. Overall I'd give this guard 95 out of 100. It'd be 100 if the lower edge was better designed. Blink and you’ll miss it: the Evotech parts speeding the Isle of Man road-racing course
Whilst the 2026 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy racing week was beset with rain causing delays and race cancelations, after a sunny practise week, in either rain or sunshine Evotech Performance motorcycle parts have proven their worth, protecting and supporting motorcycles of many of this year’s top contenders.
With world-class riders such as John McGuiness, Dean Harrison, Michael Dunlop, Peter Hickman and Josh Brookes racing the famous 37.73 mile course on Evotech Performance supported machines, the ‘race-proven’ moniker on Evotech motorcycle parts is well and truly put to the test.

And that’s not all. For 2026, Evotech Performance have been part of a few special projects at the Isle of Man TT.
But more on that later.
First, let’s round up how Evotech Performance’s British designed and engineered motorcycle parts have played their part in the ultimate road-racing test.

Honda Racing Company | John McGuiness MBE and Dean Harrison
On form in both practise and race weeks, Dean Harrison first had a touch of the silverware on Sunday, winning the Superbike TT, setting the record for the fastest standing start lap in 134.892mph. Harrison finished both the Tuesday and Friday Monster Energy Supersport races in second place on the CBR600R, and was awarded the winners spot for the Milwaukee Senior TT.
At the start of the week in the RST Superbike TT, McGuinness finished two steps away from the podium to take fifth on specially liveried Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. Commemorating his 30 years racing at the TT, both paintwork and leathers paid homage to the late Paul Bird, his original sponsor and friend.
Based just down the road in Louth Lincolnshire, Honda Racing have trusted Evotech Performance time and again to fulfil their individual requirements whilst building their motorcycles. With extensive research and development time, the EP design team and on-site production have crafted a range bespoke, development and internal parts, supporting the race winning bikes you have witnessed this TT.

Scars | Michael Dunlop MBE | MD Racing
With a thirst to race, the Northern Irish road-racing champion comes from racing pedigree. Happy to call on Evotech Performance, Dunlop has chosen EP motorcycle parts for a range of his motorcycles and teams he is riding with during the 2026 Isle of Man TT.
On Tuesday, Dunlop hit 34 TT victories in the Monster Energy Supersport class, aboard the Scars Racing Ducati Panigale V2. With number 35 coming in the first race of Friday: the Monster Energy Supersport TT Race 2. Each time on the road, the MD Racing V2 was protected with Evotech Radiator Guards and Lever Protectors.

DAO Racing | Josh Brookes
Hitting an average speed of 133.819mph in the opening RST Superbike TT race on the DAO Racing Honda Fireblade motorcycle, Brookes just missed out on a podium spot. On pace for the Senior, Brookes was awarded 3rd place following the first lap of the abandoned race.
With a strong relationship for BSB and Road Racing support, Evotech Performance regularly supply Evotech Radiator Guards, Brake Protectors and Exhaust Hangers to the Lancashire-based team. Evotech have also crafted a range of bespoke parts for Brooke’s superbike, including the upper fairing winglets requested by Brookes to improve aerodynamics around the handlebars.

Swan Racing Triumph PHR Performance | Peter Hickman | 8Ten Monster BMW Mottorad
Evotech Performance’s local rider, Peter Hickman, is no stranger to our company, having even worked here fresh out of school. With a range of motorcycles to ride, under different sponsors, the versatile rider was on the pace, with feet on the podium in four out of the five TT races which produced results.
Working closely with the design team at EP HQ, Hickman and his team were able to request a variety of our stock motorcycle parts: Radiator Guards, Lever Protectors, Caliper Bolts and Exhaust Hangers. However, it was the bespoke requests where the true Evotech magic happened. A truly bespoke front sub-frame for the Yamaha YZF-R7 was designed and produced, along with bespoke specialist bolts, wheel spacers and brackets for the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS.

Jackson Racing powered by Prosper2 | Paul Jordan
Hitting his first 130mph lap in the 2026 Superbike TT, Paul Jordan steered the Evotech Performance supported Jackson Racing Honda Fireblade to tenth place. With a 5 th position in the Monster Energy Supersport TT Race 2 and getting up to pace in the Senior, Jordan toured the 37.73 mile course with Evotech Parts supplied to protect his motorcycles.

Milenco Padgetts | Mitch Rees
Fastest newcomer in 2025 and making his senior TT debut in 2026, New Zealander Mitch Rees improved from 13th to 11th position in the two outings on the Milenco Padgetts Honda CBR600RR. With finishes in the 20s for the Superbike and Senior races, Rees has proven a face to watch for future years when the sun is shining.
Our longest established Evotech supported race team, Clive Padgett was the first to fit an Evotech Radiator Guard to a race bike, recognising the benefits of the EP rad guard protecting the crucial radiator from damage. Quickly, the trend for EP radiator guards took hold of the paddock, especially for road teams who knew the damage that sticks and stones can make to a motorcycle travelling over 130mph.
A few months before sailing to the Isle of Man, the Milenco Padgetts CBR1000RR made a trip to Evotech Performance in Lincolnshire for a bit of EP TLC. Following the team’s requests, a bespoke one-off ECU mount was crafted alongside other bespoke parts.

Unexpected Extras
This year’s TT has been notable not just for the action on the racing course. Timed to release during the action-packed fortnight, BMW have presented the special edition BMW M 1000RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT. With a livery mapping the course on British Racing Green paintwork and aerodynamic front winglets, BMW’s powerhouse motorcycle is one of only 115 to be released.
To celebrate the motorcycle’s release, the BMW M 1000RR IoMTT was put through its paces in a lap of the full circuit.
And which premium motorcycle parts manufacturer has supplied a range of stock and bespoke motorcycle camera mounts to capture the on-board footage? You guessed it: Evotech Performance.

That’s not all…
You might have noticed another celebrity-filled distraction in the paddock this year, as Hollywood came to Douglas. Starring Eve Hewson, Channing Tatum and backed by Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B Entertainment, alongside Amazon MGM, the ‘Isle of Man’ film is aiming for authenticity by filming in real live locations.
And there is nothing more authentic than the supplied BMW motorcycles wearing a few Evotech Performance motorcycle parts. Reports from the live action filming suggest Evotech radiator guards and lever protectors adorn the machinery, and there could well be more underneath the fairings. Just like the rest of the TT audience, we will have to wait for our cinema seats and popcorn for a full view of the Evotech Performance motorcycle parts on the big screen.

An installation point that is often surplus to requirements especially when riding solo around the racetrack, the pillion footpegs insertion points are at the ideal position for a rear facing action camera.
