Mervin Manufacturing
(https://mervin.com) 📸 Data Snapshot: May 30, 2026Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
There is virtually zero semantic drift between the homepage and sub-pages. The H1 claim of being the ‘World’s Most environMENTAL Snowboard Factory’ is directly supported on the Environmental page with specific details regarding zero hazardous waste, water-based ink sublimation, and biodiesel heating systems. The only minor inconsistency is the location shifting between Sequim and Carlsborg, though both are geographically adjacent in the same region.
Semantic Coherence is read from the heading hierarchy first: what each page announces in its H1 and headings, then whether the body actually delivers on it. Below is the structure the engine mapped, followed by the clean text to check for drift between promise and reality.

[IMG: Lib Tech] [H3] Lib Technologies BITCHIN’ BOARD BUILDERS We build snowboards, skis, skateboards and surfboards, No really… that is what we do. We don’t order them from China or anywhere else and send someone to go check and see how they turned out. We physically hand build them right here at home in the USA. We buy the toughest, lightest, strongest, most environmental materials; many of which aren’t meant for snowboards or used by anyone else for what we use them for. We mill, cut, glue, sand, sublimate, and flame-treat them into precise fitting puzzle pieces. We wet laminate them with our own formula of epoxy and put them in presses and formblocks we build ourselves then cure them for a specific time at multiple set temperatures, each unique model having its own set of rules. We deflash them, grind them, sand them, Scotch-briteTM them, drill them, scrape them, polish them, wax them, grade them, rework them if we need to, bag them, carry them over to shipping on the forklift, put them in their bins, and then ship them to you. We have been doing this every day for three decades. We build snowboards. lib-tech.com [IMG: GNU] [H3] GNU Snowboards and Bindings Founded with joy in a hypothermic delirium, Gnu derives energy from universal truth. From the very beginning we have always tried to be as environmentally conscious as possible with both our work environment and the materials and processes we use. Nearly Canadian Kraftsmen need healthy work and play environments so they can achieve maximum shred. We use non-petroleum based bio-plastics made from castor beans. Beans are a magical fruit! We DON’T use any cancer-causing toxic automotive lacquer clearcoats. Cancer can result in death! You don’t have to support companies that use toxic printing systems. We use soy-based elastomer sidewalls instead of toxic ABS. We use only low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) epoxy resin systems. Our basalt fiber is additive-free & less toxic than conventional fiberglass. We use water-cleansed grinding systems to minimize airborne particulate levels. Pets are encouraged to stay out of the grinding areas. We use only renewable forest products for our cores. Columbian Gold is FSC “pure” certified. Fast growing trees have long fibers & natural pop. Wood is nature’s fiberglass! Our wood sawdust is recycled as a soil additive and scrap wood is donated as kindling. We recycle all our scrap plastics (base cutouts, etc.)! Our factory heating runs on renewable based biodiesel! [IMG: Norm Eco-Sub Printing] [H3] ECO-SUB PRINTING! Mervin uses an environmentally friendly water-based ink sublimation graphics system to print all our snowboard graphics! (As opposed to the majority of the snowboard industry, which uses toxic solvent-based silkscreen inks with thick solvent-based gloss curtain coats on top… the process of building boards that way is very toxic for both the environment and people working in the factory, and because of the toxic inks, other company’s scrap plastics are not recyclable.) [IMG: enviro-finger-joining] [H3] FINGER JOINING! SIZE DOESN’T MATTER! Mervin does not waste odd sized wood. Using our finger joiner, Mervin is able to use normally unusable “cutoff end” wood core pieces. The wood is actually stronger at the joint than regular wood. The result is that almost no wood is wasted and the boards are stronger and have more pop. [IMG: Eco Woodcores] [H3] ECO WOODCORES! We use fast growing framed eco woodcores. Good wood dust is collected so it can be recycled as soil additive. Scrap wood is donated as kindling. [IMG: Norm and a POP Box]
