Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.

The heading hierarchy is largely substantive, with technical titles like RESONANCE PHENOMENON and Calibre ARF22. However, some H3 tags in the collection pages resort to high-signal fluff, such as High horology and nothing else and Not for everyone. And that’s precisely the point. The body text is exceptionally dense with technical specifications, including 39mm case measurements, 10 ATM water resistance, and descriptions of oscillation bridge suspension systems.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

[H2] RESONANCE PHENOMENON

Inspired by Antide Janvier’s 18th-century Resonance Clock and officially certified by the Centre Suisse d’Electronique et de Microtechnique (CESM) as “True Resonance,” the Dual Time GMT Resonance fulfills the long-standing horological ambition that began with Christiaan Huygens’s clock experiments following his discovery of Resonance in 1655. Both independent time zone displays of this timepiece benefit from chronometric consistency and timekeeping precision achieved via continuously-maintained Resonance, which mitigates torque fluctuations on the escapement and escapement wheel. Shared vibrations are transmitted via our purpose-built oscillation bridge “the Resonance Clutch” to sustain the Resonance phenomenon with unprecedented resistance to disruption. Exceptional hand-finishing and the dial-side kinetic spectacle of Resonance complete the value proposition for this extraordinary timepiece.

[IMG: “Over the past decade, this independent brand has established itself as one of the (very) few manufacturers to truly master resonance in a wristwatch. The new Aventurine model brings a more expressive spirit to the series, with a dial that mirrors the depth of a star-filled sky. Two sub-dials, each dedicated to an independent time zone, are made from aventurine; its deep blue surface is home to countless metallic inclusions, with a shifting, fluid sparkle under changing light. Both displays are framed by black azurage chapter rings, and poetic day/night indicators are integrated within each display. The Armin Strom Dual Time GMT series is powered by calibre ARF22, which remains one of the most compelling aspects of the watch. Developed and manufactured in-house, it features two independent regulating organs connected by the resonance clutch. This mechanism synchronises the oscillations of the balance wheels, which stabilise one another and improve overall rate consistency. As with all Armin Strom watches, each piece is assembled twice to guarantee mechanical precision and finishing excellence. The Dual Time GMT Resonance Aventurine is housed in a 39mm stainless steel case, just over 9mm thick.”

[IMG: INTRODUCING The Dual Time GMT Resonance ‘Aventurine’
A showcase for extraordinary hand-finishing and the kinetic spectacle of Resonance, the Dual Time GMT Resonance ‘Aventurine’ evokes starry celestial views typically only observed at sea, and humanity’s romantic dreams of exploration. Its aesthetic vision was inspired by a centuries-long watchmaking ambition to leverage the chronometric consistency of Resonance to solve the historic Longitude Problem, and thereby enable safe and accurate maritime navigation and exploration.
For centuries, navigators calculated longitude at sea by comparing the local solar noon (when the sun was highest) with the time at a known reference point. But accurately tracking that reference time was often an insurmountable challenge given that sea clocks kept poor and inconsistent time in the context of a moving ship. As Sir Isaac Newton noted in his speech to Parliament in 1714, “by reason of the motion of the ship, the variation of heat and cold, wet and dry, and the difference of gravity at different latitudes, such a watch hath not yet been made.” While precise marine chronometers eventually addressed the problem, the Resonance challenge remained unsolved until Armin Strom’s milestone achievement of stable and resilient Resonance. The Dual Time Resonance GMT Aventurine is a fitting tribute to that horological achievement and to the shared ambitions of centuries of explorers.

[H3] High horology and nothing else.

We conceived the System 78 collection to offer fine watchmaking in its purest form. Each timepiece starts with a fundamental horological principle that we reimagine according to our science of movement philosophy: the power delivery in our Gravity Equal Force, the date display in our Orbit, and the classical three-hand configuration in our Tribute 1. The System 78 collection is elevated through technical mastery and artisanal excellence. It is very “us”. And that’s why we named it after our founders’ shared birth year: 1978.

[H2] Resonance

[H3] The hardest way to make a watch. The best way to wear one.

Resonance is a physics phenomenon that occurs when two balance springs regulate each other thanks to their emitted vibrations. This results in greater chronometrical stability. For centuries, watchmakers tried to harness this effect—and mostly failed. We succeeded with our patented resonance clutch, a component as thin as a human hair that creates stable resonance even during wrist movements. The Resonance collection features three model lines: the Mirrored Force Resonance, the Dual Time Resonance and the groundbreaking Minute Repeater Resonance. Each one of them brings one of the most complicated achievements in watchmaking to your wrist: mastering the resonance phenomenon.

[H2] ARMIN STROM RESONANCE MECHANISM

A Resonance timepiece contains two independent movements whose balance wheels become synchronized due to mutual transfers of vibrational energy between them. The chronometric value of Resonance Synchronization lies in the opportunities it provides for improved timekeeping precision and unparalleled chronometric consistency. Two balance wheels oscillating together in natural synchronized harmony, regulating each other in real-time in a shared state of Resonance, can effectively counteract the negative influence of wrist motion, gravity, temperature changes, and shocks. The result is oscillation-rate stability, torque compensation, predictable chronometric precision and a consistently-maintained kinetic spectacle – but only if Resonance synchronization can be continuously maintained. For centuries, it couldn’t. First in the context of ‘Sea Clocks’ and later in the context of pocket watches and wristwatches, the pursuit of ‘stable’ Resonance remained an elusive goal. Resonance timepieces would intermittently drift in and out of Resonance in response to motion and mild shocks. Some of history’s most iconic watchmakers tried and failed to solve that problem. In fact, that challenge continues to be relevant even for modern timepieces that rely on the mainplate to act as a transmission medium for sharing vibrations between balance wheels. That’s the core watchmaking problem that Armin Strom Resonance timepieces solve.Co-Founder and Master Watchmaker Claude Greisler spent three years developing our milestone solution with a built-for-purpose oscillation bridge suspension system that we call a ‘Resonance Clutch’; so named because it ‘clutches’ the twin balances of a Resonance timepiece to facilitate the efficient transmission of vibrations. It consistently transfers vibrations between the balance wheels to maintain Resonance Synchronization with unprecedented resiliency against disruption. Our ‘Resonance Clutch’ doesn’t tug, push, pull or coerce the balance wheels. The phenomenon of Resonance is generated and maintained in our Resonance timepieces solely via the consistent transmission and reception of almost imperceptible vibrations. The Centre Suisse d’Electronique et de Microtechnique (CESM) has confirmed and certified that Armin Strom’s approach to Resonance is “True Resonance” while also confirming its superior resiliency against disruption.
