What if luxury were more than just a price tag, more than size, sparkle, or status? Could it be defined by time, focus, and intention? Maybe luxury is the echo of history in the hands that shape it. It begins where memory and technique meet, where craft becomes a language, and a piece of jewelry becomes a moment you can hold.That vision took form in 1976, when Mordechai and Vicki Yerushalmi opened a modest jewelry store on Western Avenue in Las Vegas, bringing with them a heritage of craftsmanship and a devotion to precision. In a city drawn to spectacle, their fine jewelry store in Las Vegas offered a more intimate kind of luxury: a place where unforgettable moments were captured in rare, one-of-a-kind pieces.In those early days, there were no headlines, no accolades, and no red carpet clients walking through the door. Intimate conversations across the counter inspired sketches of unique pieces on tracing paper, each one crafted with stones chosen to honor something deeply personal, just as they still do today. They defined luxury not as trend, opulence, or spectacle, but as attention to detail, care, uniqueness, and precision. The approach was intimate, and the results were unforgettable.The word spread, and The Jewelers soon delivered custom diamond jewelry to Elvis Presley’s suite at the Las Vegas Hilton. Since then, the name has become synonymous with the red carpet. It is recognized as part of Las Vegas history and trusted by a long list of celebrity clients, including Liberace, Wayne Newton, Mike Tyson, Larry Holmes, Chuck Norris, Floyd Mayweather, Mike Piazza, Celine Dion, and many others.The Jewelers expanded in a new direction with higher-end luxury boutiques in many of the Strip’s most successful resorts, such as The Venetian, Caesars Palace, Mandalay Bay, and multiple stores throughout the Las Vegas Valley.That legacy lives on. On November 2, 2022, the City of Las Vegas issued an official proclamation honoring Mordechai and Vicki Yerushalmi for their role as long-standing business owners and community stewards.
