Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
20 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
67% Reputation

The body substance ratio is exceptionally high for the legal sector, citing specific metrics such as a 90% success rate, a 14-day contact-to-mediation window, and a 4-8 hour resolution timeframe. However, the site loses points for heading fluff saturation and concept repetition, particularly the frequent use of the phrase 100 GENUINE 5 STAR REVIEWS which appears multiple times across all pages. The homepage heading structure is also repetitive, listing Mediator Harvinder Singh Bhurji under four separate H2 tags with identical content. Despite this, specific nouns and numbers like 6000+ mediations and 39 highly experienced mediators provide significant weight to the claims.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

📝 The Narrative — clean text per page (the substance-vs-filler signal)

[H4] Mediation Questions & Further Information
What is mediation all about?Mediation is a guided discussion where a neutral professional helps parties in conflict reach a voluntary agreement. It’s not a court hearing. It’s a structured way to resolve mediation disputes through conversation and compromise.
Who pays for the mediation? Costs depend on the type of dispute, such as commercial, workplace, family, or boundary. Generally, fees are split equally or as agreed beforehand. We’ll clarify payment terms before any session begins. So you will know exactly what the cost will be, which will not change.
Is the agreement reached in mediation legally binding?Yes, once all parties sign the final settlement agreement, it becomes a legally binding contract enforceable in court if someone reneges.
What types of disputes can mediation handle? Our disputes mediation covers civil, commercial, employment, workplace, family, neighbour or boundary conflicts. If it can be litigated, it can almost always be mediated.
If I refuse mediation, will it count against me in court?Yes it more than likely can. There have been a number of recent high profile cases where parties who refused to mediate were penalised on costs at trial, even though they won. The general rule is the parties have to have a reasonable reason for refusing to mediate. Otherwise they more than likely will face the wrath of the court.
How long does mediation usually take? Most mediation services conclude within half a day (4 hours). Complex cases may need additional time, eight to twelve hours. But you’ll know the estimated timeframe before booking and committing to any payment.
Can mediation be conducted online?Absolutely. We offer secure mediations via Zoom (which we believe is the best platform to use), giving you the same confidentiality and effectiveness as in‑person sessions. Read more about online mediation.
How do I get started with your mediation services?Just reach out via phone or fill in a contact form. We’ll discuss your situation, explain fees, and schedule your session, often within two weeks. Get your free consult now.

Builder Dispute - 30th April 2026This mediation took place on the 30th April 2026 concerning a builder dispute. A contact for £110,000 was entered into between the parties on the 6th February 2025.As the renovations continued a number of issues surfaced. Resulting in the final payment of approximately £11,000 being withheld by the homeowner. With the allegation of defects and inferior materials being used. The claimant suspended works. The defendant claimed they asked the claimant to stop works. The parties argued back and forth which eventually led to a court claim being issued by the building company, this was not only defended but the homeowner issued a counter claim for £12,500.The dispute lasted for 6 months since the claim was issued. The mediation took 3 hours in contrast. The matter was resolved by way of a Tomlin order.

Commercial Contract Insurance - 5th May 2020The claimant was represented by a solicitor who actually was a mediator who we actually trained. The defendant was an experienced businessman, who chose not to have legal representation. The claimant had an item (we cannot state what it was for confidential reasons. As it would make the claimant instantly identifiable, which he requested we not do), which had been used in a number of films. To include a James Bond number. The item was hired by the defendant for the use in a separate film. The terms of the commercial contract were that the defendant had to collect, transport use and return the item, all at their own cost, within a specified time period. The defendant executed these instructions and indeed fulfilled the terms of their contract, however, on returning the item to the claimants storage building. The defendants agents due to a pure miscalculation and innocent error caused £200,000 worth of damage to the item, when placing it down in the building. As they hit the roof of the claimants building, damaging the item extensively, the claimant claimed the damage to the item was beyond economic repair due to the defendants agents error.Who blamed the claimant, who in turn blamed them, stating you managed to take it without an issue, and it should have been returned how you took it.Pre litigation correspondence ensued which was getting protracted and entrenching the parties even further. Which finally led to a court claim being issued.1. The commercial contract dispute went on for eighteen months. 2. The mediation took four hours to settle. 3. The matter was resolved amicably via a Consent Order.
Workplace Dispute - 9th April 2020This workplace disputed was mediated on the 9th of April 2020. It concerned a longstanding and senior member of staff, who allegedly had caused a number of issues with four other senior managers and a number of other staff. The workplace mediation took place between all five. The issues were historic to include talking behind other employees backs, then essentially claiming that other employees had said or done something untoward to that particular employee or another member of staff and then repeating the same behaviour with other employees.Because he was so knowledgeable a lot of his expertise were simply stored in his head. Which he played up on, he was described as always blowing hot and cold. Sometimes he could not do enough for you, other times he would in condescension belittle those who asked for his help. Deemed as being unapproachable. The workplace dispute originally surfaced four years prior to a mediator being appointed. The workplace mediation took ten hours in contrast. The matter was resolved to include a detailed performance plan.
[H3] Online Mediation Questions & Answers
1. What is online mediation?Online mediation is a dispute resolution process held over video conferencing platforms like Zoom. (Zoom is much better than Teams). It allows parties to resolve conflicts from different locations with the help of a trained mediator.
2. What do I need to join an online mediation session? You’ll need a device (computer, tablet, or smartphone, a computer, laptop or tablet works better than a smartphone), an internet connection, and access to Zoom. Before the session, we’ll send you a meeting link with all the login details to join our online mediation platform. If the internet connection drops, then what? We carry on over the phone, until the connection comes back. This has happened in about 5 cases over the space of 7 years. The drop lasted a few minutes. although it was inconvenient, it did not affect the mediation.
3. Is the mediation private and secure online?Yes. All sessions take place in secure digital rooms. Only the involved parties, their legal representatives, and the mediator have access. Confidentiality is strictly maintained in all online mediation services.
4. What types of disputes are suitable for online mediation?EVERYTHING! Our online dispute resolution services cover a range of issues, including contract disputes, employment conflicts, partnership disagreements, and more. If it can be mediated in person, it can likely be handled online too. To include boundary disputes with complicated plans and title deeds.
5. Is online mediation as effective as in-person mediation?Yes. Online mediation services offer the same outcomes as in-person sessions. They’re confidential, legally valid, and often more convenient, especially for people in different locations.
6. I’m not good with technology.

Our commercial mediation services can resolve your civil and commercial disputes of any nature. We save you a lot of money, time, and the stress of going through Court. [H2]
Commercial Litigation
In turn, the jurisdiction(s) of the dispute(s) may cause further litigation. This can surface out of the original dispute and lead to more than one dispute. It may also bring adverse publicity, wasted productivity, and loss of resources and manpower. Not to mention, it creates ill will between the parties.
At that point, it can become impossible to preserve an ongoing commercial relationship. In addition, undoubtedly, solicitors', court, expert, and legal expenses will accumulate in the thousands of pounds.

[H2]
Civil Mediation
The more the dispute goes on, the worse it will become. It can become a nightmare. The dispute may become increasingly complicated and more stressful. However, this may be due to the nature of the dispute, the number of parties involved, or the number of individuals affected. It can also impact personal relationships and other businesses.

[H2]
Commercial Costs
Fees adding up is a daunting and harrowing prospect for any person, CEO, HR Manager, business, or one-man band. Therefore, the old adage goes, Time is money. In the commercial world, time, money, and relationships mean everything.
Therefore, it is imperative to resolve a civil or commercial dispute with the help of commercial mediators. Meanwhile, this ensures minimal impact on the commercial relationship, the viability of objectives that need to be completed, as well as saving time and expense.

[H2] Mediation In The Workplace
[H3] When asked to conduct mediaiton in the workplace, the below are the main types of disputes we have been asked to mediate. It is not by any means an exhaustive list. We can mediate anything, if for any reason we cannot, we will tell you and if appropriate signpost you to someone who would be better suited to assist you.
Absence, long term sick. Reintegrating dismissed / reinstated employees back into the workplace.ntly doing & why?

Breakdown in communication, working relationships, miscommunication / understanding.

Bullying, isolation & victimisation.

Discrimination, ageism, gender, LGBT, sexism & racism.

Disability issues, failing to make reasonable adjustments. Equality, playing favourites, bias.

Grievance & disciplinary, misconduct, appeal of the same.

Manager and employee (hierarchy) / management style, undermining, lack of support, performance, capability route.

Mental health, disabilities, disorders, neurodiversity issues.

Personality clashes, working styles, gossip, trust, lack of trust, physical altercations.

Personal issues outside of the workplace, being used to fuel disputes in the workplace.

Reduced productivity, performance, low morale, whistleblowing.

Sexual harassment, stalking, harassment, inappropriate conduct.
[H2] Workplace Mediation Avoids Employment Tribunals
Mediation in the workplae offered by us can, therefore, prevent and stop all of the above from happening. If such issues have already arisen, we can stop them from getting worse and escalating. It is a quick, flexible, voluntary process that removes the obstacles that caused the dispute and solves them fast. Consequently, it helps repair broken relationships, allowing people to work together again without using formal or legal steps. Such as investigations, suspensions, grievance & disciplinaries, or the absolute worse case scenario filing or defending an Employment Tribunal claim. If a workplace dispute is left unresolved, it can, ultimately, cause serious problems. The conflict will fester the longer it goes on, getting worse over time. Nevertheless, no matter the type of workplace conflict we have the experience and skills to help you solve it and save money, time, and stress
[H2] Workplace Disputes Act Fast, Otherwise...
Alliances formed, sides taken, which side do you take?

Careers, promotions are ruined. Good employees just leave.

Grievance &disciplinary processes forced on employees as the only escape, which do not really address the key issues.

Further bullying, harassment, feeling isolated & alone.

How do you keep out of it, perhaps you can’t?

Low morale & apathy toxic culture brews. A knock on effect leads to reduced productivity.

The point of no return where pre existing relationships cannot be fixed.

Wasted manpower, resources, a domino effect on external departments, those not involved are brought in with a view to assist in resolving the dispute, HR, management, unions, legal.

"If you do nothing, the situation will escalate, it will become a massive headache, even more so than it is already. Eventually and inevitably it will sadly get to the point of no return. Becoming an untenable situation, which could have been easily avoided. On a number of occasions I have had to explain to enquirers unfortunately from what you have described we cannot help. The dispute is too far gone, and no amount of mediation will be able to assist. In fact it might now make matters worse. You should have come to us several months ago, whereby we could have been in a position to confidently say we can assist.”

Step 7
Your workplace mediator will prep by reading the employees position statements the day before the mediation.

Step 8
Your mediator mediates in person or via online mediation. Has seperate confidential meetings with all employees, then uses the remainder of the day having joing & private meetings until the matter is resolved.
[H3] The mediator cannot report back anything to the employer except an agreement was or was not reached. If an agreement was reached, and was committed to writing, it will only be shared if all the employees consent for it to be shared with the employer. Any agreement made is based on trust and is NOT legally binding.
[H2] Workplace Mediation Is Not Employment Mediation
Employment mediation is not workplace mediaiton, they both opdrate under different approaches and models. Employment mediation services can, similarly, resolve employment disputes early, preventing the cost, time, and hassle of Court or an Employment Tribunal. In particular, employment mediation deals with disputes over work conditions, pay, contracts, grievance and discipline procedures, and unfair or constructive dismissal between employers and employees.
[H2] Our Workplace Mediation Services Have Helped
Beachcroft LLP, Leeds The claimant was a Surgeon, Doctor. For years he had worked for his employer under an old contract. Which had not been updated to the new contract. The new contract paid much more than the old one. He of course disputed this, to no avail.Always being told, it was in hand and would be rectified. The dispute went on for over ten years. Enough was enough and he started court proceedings for his unpaid wages. A claim of £154,000 was brought. The mediation took less than eight hours and an agreement was reached.Read the testimonial here.
British Association For Counselling Psychotherapy, LeicesterThis concerned a long-standing dispute between a very senior member of staff and one of their managers. Several changes were made to the structure of the business. This led to a number of issues.Lack of trust, suspicion and alleged ineffective communication were all key drivers
