Information Density: William Fry – Signal Evidence & AI Readability

Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
24 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
80% Reputation

The body substance ratio is exceptionally high for the legal sector, with specific deal mentions such as the sale of PTSB for the Department of Finance and the High Court victory for Argentina. While headings like [H2] Find Legal Specialists are generic, they are immediately supported by specific nouns and dates in the featured news section. Unlike most firms, the site provides a massive archive of 5,686 articles, indicating significant intellectual output over time rather than just marketing fluff.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

📝 The Narrative — clean text per page (the substance-vs-filler signal)

History

Founded in 1847, William Fry has been serving its clients for approaching 200 years.
The 11th child of Major Oliver Fry, William Fry, the founder, was born in 1822 and upon qualifying in 1847, began practising, initially with his future brother-in-law, Edward White, from 60 Middle Abbey Street in Dublin 1. Within a few years, the firm had moved to 13 Lower Mount Street in Dublin 2, where the founder and his family lived above the business.
The firm expanded, to fully occupy 13 Lower Mount Street as well as the neighbouring Georgian building, before moving to the 1st floor of Fitzwilton House, Dublin 2, in 1980. William Fry continued to grow steadily, with its development accelerating alongside the Irish economy throughout the 1990s and 2000s. By the time William Fry left Fitzwilton House, the business occupied 10 floors in the building; ultimately justifying the move, alongside many contemporaries, to the Silicon Docks, settling in 2015, at 2 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2.
