Huntington Marketing
(https://www.huntingtonmarketing.com) 📸 Data Snapshot: May 19, 2026Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
The site is saturated with power words that lack technical modifiers, such as ‘cutting-edge strategies,’ ‘proven and new approaches,’ and ‘highly compelling ways.’ In the body text, generic marketing language dominates, offering ‘fresh eyes’ instead of specific proprietary frameworks or named technological stacks. Body passages like the ‘POWER MARKETING’ section fail to define a single specific tool or metric, relying instead on a high ratio of adjectives over substantive nouns. Concept repetition is high, with the same four-category service list (Branding, Marketing, Social, Mobile) restated across multiple pages without adding granular detail.
Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

View Larger Image [H1] Are you about to be sued because your website is not ADA compliant? Unfortunately, we have firsthand knowledge on this subject. Last fall, here in southern California, there were several news stories about small retail or service companies being sued by those vigilant on behalf of the blind. Now it’s worked its way to associations and charities. There are law offices specializing in bringing these suits and they are more and more active. Seemingly, there is no recourse but to pay some negotiated value of the suit. Now, any website and app must provide the blind with effective communication and full and equal enjoyment of your information. To be clear, the U.S. Department of Justice has not issued specific guidelines indicating how a website and app could or should be made accessible to blind viewers. But that will be of no comfort to you if one of these suits comes your way. No, there is no warning giving you a chance to apply software, something all of us would do knowing the financial downside if we don’t.Thus, this post. Fair warning: If you host or manage a website for your group(s), have your web developer attend to this immediately. There is a long checklist review of functionality from type having to replace any graphics (that then become audible for the blind) to removing underlined copy that is not a link and replacing it with italics. One checklist source is https://www.ada.gov/pcatoolkit/chap5chklist.htm.As a management firm, we oversee many websites and have applied software to all our clients’ URLs, but not before being required to pay many thousands of dollars from a suit. We absolutely support the need for those with disabilities to be part of our productive and communicative society. And, I know you do too.By admin|2019-09-09T18:15:18+00:00June 4th, 2019|Marketing|Comments Off on Are you about to be sued because your website is not ADA compliant? View Larger Image [H1] What consumers are thinking: Making sense of all the surveys I’ve lost count. I have read nearly a dozen reports from surveys done at the start of the year asking consumers and businesses what they feel are the most important topics and goals in 2019. We marketing people must heed shifting consumer desires. The list below is a fair summary of all the survey results. What consumers want:To get control of their day. Otherwise known as a search for work-life balance, people are overwhelmed with what they must do and yearn for the things they want to do. For many, there’s an eagerness to escape reality if even for a few minutes. To express their individuality and broadcast what is special about them. That might be appearance, skill, talent, character, goals, or something else they want to be known for, like owning an unusual possession. To shift into high gear their responsibility to contribute to a sustainable environment. We’re not talking about recycling clothes at H & M. But that was a start. People want to have a net positive impact. This is not a new social position, just a redoubled one.Try even harder to make healthy decisions. This translates to many areas; ingredients, fabric content, air quality, freshness in all products. Farm-to-table, sewn locally, manufactured in-state, all of which contributes to a better local economic environment. To feel wealthy even if their income doesn’t match their desires. Gone are the days of investment purchases. They want everything right now and they want the best of it. It’s got to be cool, luxurious looking, the newest tech. But they are not interested in traditionally high-end quality brands. To question everyone and everything. There is a distrust of the elite and powerful and they want to distance themselves from brands (logos) that make them look like they are conforming. (See item 2).To get a balance of digital and in-person product acquisition – shopping. While on-line shopping will continue to eclipse in-store purchases because of convenience, people want to be social and that means browsing in person. Online retailers are opening locations with AI guiding inventories to capitalize on emotion. Think entertainment. What are we marketers doing to recraft our messages and offerings to meet these shifting consumer behaviors?By admin|2019-09-09T18:15:44+00:00February 4th, 2019|Marketing|Comments Off on What consumers are thinking: Making sense of all the surveys [H4] Share This Story, Choose Your Platform! View Larger Image [H1] When shopping was human: Have disappearing stores left you lonely? What a few months it’s been. Aside from politics, the business news has come at us with unnerving velocity. Everyone reading this post keeps tuned into companies and people on the move. But we’ll mention just two big losses to reminisce about. This post is nearly always written with the “we” in authorship. Today, I’ll pull back the Wizard of Oz curtain and make the comments mine since I’d like to share a couple of memories.Toys “R” Us and I share a birthdate. So, I’ve never not shopped for Christmas and birthday gifts there. The first year the chain announced they’d be open until midnight Christmas eve, I knew they understood me. Yes, I can buy toys online. But what will be missing is the visual opportunity the stores presented. I often had no idea what I wanted to buy until I walked the aisles often asking a 17-yr old sales person for their opinion. “Do eight-year-old boys really go for these mini jeeps? Or should I get the race car?”Launching in 1892, Sears & Roebuck’s start preceded my birth by over a half a century but has a special place in my heart. You see, back before we all had dozens of credit cards, consumers paid with a check or, more likely with cash. Fresh out of high school I took a studio apartment for the summer way across town. Fearless and independent, I was. I took a job with Home Savings & Loan (also no longer around) and realized my wardrobe was unpolished.I shopped the Sears in Santa Monica and narrowed my choice down to a navy-blue cotton cable knit dress. Mock turtleneck, modest cap sleeves, knee length. I could not afford it. It was $12. The sales lady nodded with maternal understanding and allowed me to put the dress on lay-a-way. I made three payments of $4 finally taking it to my little apartment. I wore that dress for many years. My first ‘adult’ purchase with the help of a kind saleslady. So, it’s not just the disappearance of the businesses that leave a void, but the elimination of the interaction with other humans who help and understand us. On the plus side, Alexa will always tell me I look great in my dress.By admin|2019-09-09T18:15:59+00:00October 22nd, 2018|Marketing|Comments Off on When shopping was human: Have disappearing stores left you lonely? Marketing & Campaign Developmentadmin2019-09-05T18:34:37+00:00 [H1] Marketing & Campaign Development Do your marketing efforts resemble a finely integrated team working together toward a common goal? A well planned and executed marketing campaign consists of key fundamental elements necessary to produce the desired ROI.When it comes to developing new business in existing or new markets, most struggle to truly define their target audience. That’s where we come in.There are three key elements to successful marketing campaigns. You can’t substitute one for the other. If you look back at any failed or lackluster marketing efforts from your own experience, you’ll agree that one or more of the elements below was missing or not placed correctly.First: More often than not, your target audience is made up of several groups. Although each situation is unique, you must identify targets and evaluate them by their short and long range potential. In other words, first, we research, then rank your target markets.Second: In this over-advertised world, it is more important than ever to find the right media mix for for your target audiences. Your business and your market are unique. We excel at finding media channels to your target audience and developing a strategy that consistently delivers your message over time.Third: We develop graphics and copy that grabs instant attention and elicits action. This may seem simply stated, but it is rarely accomplished in today’s creative field. We create campaigns that properly reflect your brand, communicate only the key differentiating points and value propositions, and sell your products or services. As your outside marketing team we have the immediate advantage of evaluating your challenges from a fresh perspective, without preconceptions but with a clear sight of how customers who know very little about you would perceive you. We would love the opportunity to demonstrate how our broad experience and unique capabilities can be combined to produce a winning marketing plan that will ensure results for your company. Branding & Corporate Developmentadmin2019-09-05T19:18:47+00:00 [H1] Branding And Corporate Development We will work with all levels of your organization on branding. Many people experience your brand in numerous ways: services, staff, community businesses, medical personnel, donors, case workers, the board, the press, etc.. Each of these contacts molds the impression of the brand. Some of these impressions are obvious, like service results and one-on-one interactions. Other contacts such as the brochures, monthly newsletters or donor thank-you letters may be subtler in their brand effects.Your brand image creates expectations. It defines who you are, how you operate, and how you’re different from other organizations. In essence, your brand image is a promise – a promise that must be kept. The customer experience can’t be left to chance. It should be actively designed and controlled in a manner that enhances your brand image. It must consistently reinforce the brand identity across every contact or the value of the brand itself is at risk. There are five steps to building a strong brand and brand experience:Research today’s truthsIdentify customer touch points.Determine the most influential touch points.Design the optimal experience.Align the organization to consistently deliver the optimal experience.A holistic approach to aligning your organization to consistently deliver the optimal experience is essential. Identify the people, processes, and tools that drive each key touch point. The best plan goes south if there is someone in the organization who does not support our effort. Or worse, they talk against it.The impact of behind-the-scenes employees are less obvious but no less important than the frontline contacts. Similarly, the impact of workflow processes and tools (i.e. technology systems) on the customer experience may be less intuitive but crucial to consistent delivery.Every service you bring to market yields a customer experience. Is it the experience you intend? Does that experience fulfill the promise you’ve made to the marketplace?By identifying the people, processes, and tools that drive customer experience, you can actively design and control your own unique, optimized experience. The brand promise you make to the marketplace will be kept day in and day out across every key customer touch point, building a strong brand. [IMG: SunWize Portfolio]
