Where others may build solutions around a specific design target, Iso’s drug design engine is built on AI models capable of working across multiple therapeutic areas and drug modalities.

Our pioneering AI-first approach means much of the time-consuming experimental work previously associated with identifying a drug candidate at the bench in a lab, can now be conducted much more quickly and efficiently ‘in silico’: on a computer.

This is unlocking exciting opportunities for Iso’s scientists to probe new chemical space, explore previously intractable targets with strong disease associations, and design new drug candidates with much greater pace and precision.

Iso’s breakthrough technology has helped to expand our drug discovery programs from small molecules to biologics and beyond. In addition to our partnered programs, we are also developing an internal drug candidate pipeline focused in oncology and immunology.

We developed and released AlphaFold 3 in May 2024. This latest generation model allows researchers to model the structures and interactions of all of life’s molecules with unprecedented accuracy. But to create a truly generalisable drug design engine, we have developed multiple further breakthroughs that tackle the full spectrum of complexity in drug design. This allows our AI drug design engine to operate end-to-end, in a way that is both target and disease agnostic.

Our ‘dataverse’ - a unique, curated collection of life science data, powers a cutting-edge research environment capable of running massive volumes of in-silico experiments across vast GPU fleets. working at isoWhere is Iso based?Right now, we have one big Iso team operating in three great cities: London, UK (in the King’s Cross neighbourhood), Lausanne, Switzerland (in Le Flon district) and Cambridge, MA (in Kendall Square). We always tag the location of any open roles at Iso so you know where you’d be based.Does Iso allow hybrid working?Yes. We typically work in the office three days a week; the other two days a week, it’s up to each Iso where they choose to work.If you’ve got needs that mean you can’t work in this hybrid way, please let us know during your screening call, and we can talk more about it then.What benefits do you provide?We provide great benefits, including pension contributions, health and wellness benefits, enhanced parental support and development opportunities.Does Iso offer internship programmes, graduate schemes or work experience placements?Not at the moment. We’ll update this website (and announce it on X and LinkedIn) if anything changes.Is visa sponsorship and/or relocation support available?For jobs in London, yes. Every application is reviewed by our team to ensure a fair and thoughtful evaluation process.When should I expect to hear back after I apply?We’re reviewing applications all the time, and will reply to everyone to let them know whether or not they have been invited for an initial call.We want to make sure we’re running a fair recruitment process. That means we sometimes leave roles open for extended periods of time to allow more people to apply.Can I apply for more than one open role at Iso?We find it’s better if you apply for one open role at a time.
