Is v-dog happy harvest a complete diet for my dog?

Yes! Just like our kibble, happy harvest also meets or exceeds all AAFCO standards for adult dog nutrition, and additionally, our soft and savory food also meets or exceeds the AAFCO standards for puppy nutrition. Your dog can now maintain a plant-based diet from puppyhood to their senior years. (In fact, many have already used happy harvest to help senior dogs and smaller breeds that suffer from dental problems or missing teeth.)

Do I need to add anything to the v-dog kibble?

Nope! Our kibble and soft food are both fully supplemented with everything your dog needs to thrive, including 24% protein, L-carnitine, taurine, healthy fatty acids, and other whole foods, vitamins, and minerals.

I thought taurine and L-carnitine came from animal products. What gives?

Many think that these amino acids only come from animal products, but they actually have plant-based sources as well. We only use taurine and L-carnitine from 100% vegan sources.
