Natasha & Phil brought their nearest and dearest to their intimate wedding in Dingle, to celebrate in true Irish style. From a ceremony overlooking Cosán Cuas na nEighe, to couples portraits along the breathtaking Slea Head Drive, every moment felt cinematic. The festivities continued with pints at Dick Mack’s Pub, followed by an unforgettable dinner at Michelin-starred restaurant Land to Sea. Add in unreal sunshine and the wild beauty of the west coast, and it turned into a truly epic Irish wedding. What a day! ?

About Wonder & Magic: We are Emmylie and Richie, Ireland award winning wedding photographer and videographer team, based in Dublin and available worldwide. With our experience, and our relaxed approach we specialise in providing timeless, elegant and emotional wedding photography and videography for joy-filled couples.We met over 10 years ago, fell in love and have been together ever since. We had planned to have an intimate ceremony in Ireland but ended up celebrating our marriage twice: in Ireland and in Brazil. Two of the most wonderful days of our lives! We will never forget how amazing it felt!Almost a decade later… here we are: Living our biggest adventure. We have a beautiful brown eyed, red haired ‘Brazirish’ daughter, named Ellie. She is the love of our loves and we are so grateful to seeing her growing up and learning new things. It’s been a wonderful journey so far!We started our wedding photography and videography business before we got married and after we tied the knot, we continued photographing weddings with even more passion than before. We have learned so much from the experience of getting married and being on the other side of the camera. We brought what we learned to our business. We truly adore what we do! Working at weddings we get to relive the excitement of our own wedding day! It is such a loving atmosphere and there’s so much happiness on the day we can’t help but feeling a bit of what we felt when we got married.We know exactly how overwhelming the planning can be: if you are planning an intimate gathering, a black tie celebration at a castle or a three day destination wedding, we would be honoured to help and to be a part of it!

[H3] More about Emmylie

I am originally from Boa Vista, in Roraima, a small but beautiful city in the north of Brazil, above the Ecuador line, where is sunny – almost too sunny! – most of the year.I thought I was going to follow my mom’s steps and I graduated with a law degree but photography has always been a passion.My dad loves photography too and always kept cameras around that I got to use from time to time. I used to dress up with a friend and do small photo sessions. We had a lot of fun!Films were also major part of my life. My grandma and my dad owned a video store so I grew up having access to all the films I wanted to see.I have been a photographer for over 10 years and I started my carrier doing portraits and family photo sessions. I still do them and you can see more HERE.I moved to Ireland over 10 years ago to improve my skills as a photographer and at the end of my photography course my teacher recommended me to a bride. I fell in love with wedding photography!That was no surprise as I also always loved anything related to weddings and some of my favourite programs to watch were ‘Say yes to the dress’ and ‘Don’t tell the bride’. I still love and watch them till this day! I love watching any films or series about weddings really…At the time I photographed my first wedding, Richie and I had already been dating and we started working together. A few years later we decided it was time to start offering wedding videos too.Since then I have had my work recognised and published in some major publications and am I proud to say I have won awards for it too!

[H3] More about Richie

My dad & uncles have always been into photography & I have inherited a love for cameras & taking pictures from them.I have a diploma in interior architecture and furniture design. Photography was a large part of my art portfolio to get into college. I have been working as a professional photographer for more than 15 years, starting as an assistant to several well known photographers across a variety of disciplines, from fashion to advertising to food and weddings.While we use the most up to date Canon mirrorless cameras I still regularly shoot film, both 35mm and medium format 120. I am a massive car and motoring fan. I love road trips and classic cars! Being a wedding photographer that works all around Ireland allows me to combine these passions. I love nothing more than hitting the road in the morning on the way to the next wedding. I have a number of landscapes currently on display as part of the Seamus Heaney : Listen Now Again exhibition at the Bank of Ireland Cultural & Heritage Centre, Westmoreland St, Dublin.

We have over 10 years of expertise and are proud to provide our clients with an amazing wedding experience! Our organic and refined approach allows us to capture all aspects of your celebration with authenticity, unparalleled elegance and sophistication. With our distinctive style, we capture light-filled, timeless and heartfelt memories in your wedding photos and films.To ensure that you fully enjoy every aspect of your day, we know when to step in, and guide you for the most flattering poses, and to take a step back and allow the moments to flow naturally.

[H2] Before the wedding

Before you book we will schedule an e-meeting for us to get to know each other and make sure your vision aligns with our aesthetic.
If you decide to book we will have another e-meeting with you and/or your planner a month before the wedding date, to understand all that’s important to you and to confirm the timeline and details for the wedding. You can also email, text or call us at any stage if you have any questions or would like any suggestions.
An engagement session will be scheduled sometime before the wedding, if included in your package.  This, without a doubt, benefits both: us and you. This session allows us to get to know each other even better and get you even more comfortable in front of our cameras so on your wedding day, you know what to expect and everything will flow with ease. Coverage usually begins 2 or 3 hours before the ceremony. Initially, we meticulously capture all the details – from your gorgeous shoes and rings to delicate flowers and bespoke stationery. Then, while you are getting ready, our approach seamlessly transitions from candid documentation to occasional guidance, so you can look and feel your best.
During the ceremony our presence is discreet and non-intrusive. We respect the natural flow of the wedding and so that you and your guest can enjoy the moment without disruption, ensuring that every heartfelt exchange is preserved authentically.
Following the ceremony, we efficiently capture all your family photos and wedding party photos, fostering a relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels at ease. With our expert direction, natural interactions will be captured, resulting in timeless imagery that reflect the genuine bond shared amongst loved ones.
During your couples’ portraits session, while our approach remains natural and unobtrusive, we will provide gentle guidance to ensure the creation of stunning imagery. With our direction and keen eye for detail, you will feel at ease in front of our lenses and to enjoy the moment with your partner. [H2] After your wedding

Shortly after your wedding we will provide you with a preview gallery with lots of beautiful images, allowing you to share your favourites with your loved ones or showcase them on social media.
Then, we individually edit each photograph to the highest standard. While we refrain from using Photoshop during this stage, we dedicate ample time to ensure every image is perfected, as these are the timeless treasures you will cherish forever.
For clients who opt for wedding videography, the editing process for your wedding films typically takes 4 to 6 months, due to its intricate nature.
If an album is included in your collection, upon receiving your selection of images for the wedding album, we create a stunning layout for your approval before proceeding with printing. Once approved, albums are typically ready for collection within 8 weeks. We also offer the convenience of arranging delivery of your album, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that combines elegance, tradition, and a lot of fun then Lindsay & Andrew’s Powerscourt Estate Wedding is undoubtedly a must-see! Their celebration transcended borders, bringing together guests from different corners of the globe to witness the union of two souls deeply in love. It captured hearts all over the world after being featured on Destination I do. The couples’ priority was to give their guests a unique experience in a foreign country and Ireland was the perfect halfway point for their families, with Andrew’s family coming from Russia and Lindsay’s from California. This beautiful wedding is infused with style, gorgeous details, and heartfelt touches.

[H3] Wedding Ceremony In The Gardens

From the moment guests arrived, it was evident that this wedding would be a celebration to remember. The majestic backdrop of Powerscourt Estate set the stage for an elegant affair. With an Old-world feel and romantic vibes, Powerscourt was voted one of National Geographic’s “Most Beautiful Gardens in the World”. The Bamberg Gates were the chosen backdrop for Lindsay & Andrew’s ‘I dos’.So they could have an extra personal ceremony so the couple chose a dear friend to officiate it. They also blended American and Irish traditions, with bridesmaids and groomsmen standing by their sides as well as the handfasting ceremony, deeply steeped in Irish history. Surprising all their guests, the groom’s 20-year-old brother acted as their flower boy and stole the show with his entrance! Lindsay & Andrew also crafted their own wedding vows, leaving guests with tears in their eyes.One of the most memorable aspects of their wedding for us was Lindsay’s two stunning wedding dresses. The one worn at the ceremony held special significance, as it has been passed down through generations – from her grandmother to her mother to her sister and then to Lindsay – a beautiful nod to their family heritage and enduring love. It added an extra layer of sentiment to an already magical day.

[H3] Al Fresco Drinks Reception and Dancing

After the ceremony the couple and their guests enjoyed the drinks reception in the garden while the string quartet played. Guests were invited to try the couple’s signature cocktail called ‘The Winston’ named after their pup. The display photo is the cutest!Although this was a black tie wedding, don’t let the formal attire fool you; this couple and their guests know how to have fun. With their love of partying and vodka, the newlyweds ensured that the dance floor was never empty and the glasses were always full. From classic tunes to energetic beats and even a live saxophonist, the night was filled with laughter and countless memories that will be cherished for years to come.As photographers, being able to witness and document Lindsay and Andrew’s beautiful love story unfolding at Powerscourt Estate was truly a privilege. The elegance of the venue, the warmth of the guests, and the genuine love between them made it a day we will always remember.

Imagine a scene straight out of a fairy tale – a gorgeous couple exchanging vows in the midst of nature, friends and family gathered,  butterflies fluttering around them. This was exactly the magical setting for Emily & Darragh’s Borris House wedding as can be seen in the photographs below.Stepping onto the grounds of Borris House, a palpable sense of excitement filled the air. Despite a forecast of rain, the sun emerged, bathing the historic estate in a radiant glow, creating an idyllic setting for the couple’s outdoor ceremony. Emily and Darragh’s union was a seamless blend of cultures and traditions, weaving together the rich heritage of China and Ireland.Before walking down the aisle to marry Darragh in front of the beautifully restored 18th century Chapel of St Moling, Emily had an emotional first look with her parents – a moment we were truly blessed to witness.

It was beautiful to see the fusion of Chinese and Irish cultures, from the signs in Chinese around the Estate, to the origami with guests names on the tables to the hand fasting ceremony. Every moment exuded an undeniable warmth and sincerity. Their love, transcending borders and languages, left a lasting impression on all present. Every glance, every touch, every smile was a testament to the power of love and the joy of finding your soulmate.Our favourite memories of their wedding ceremony was seeing butterflies fluttering during the couples’ first kiss – it felt absolutely magical – and their joyous exit with the all their guests throwing rose petals in the air.

[H3] Drinks Reception and Dancing

Even though the rooms inside the venue are stunning, as the sun continued to shine, guests had drinks and hors d’oeuvres outdoors, enjoying the music and the amazing surroundings.
The dinning room was beautifully decorated not only with lots of candles, Chinese sayings on every table, origami, and a cut out Chinese sign on the wall meaning ‘double happiness’ but also the floral arrangements used on the ceremony being reused behind the main table.
following the drinks reception guests were invited to the dinning room where the couple had the most heartfelt speeches. Emily and Darragh chose not to have a wedding cake, they opted for a champagne tower instead.
Capturing the essence of Emily & Darragh’s wedding day was an honour beyond words. It was a reminder of the magic and beauty that can be found in love. It is a force that knows no boundaries, that transcends cultures and languages, and that brings people together in the most extraordinary of ways.
