However, completion of the sale was prolonged due to the conveyancing process which took longer than expected. The support didn’t stop there once we got to ‘Sold, subject to contract’. Star player Lizzie contacted us and the legal representation on both sides several times a week to keep the sale moving and got us over the line in the timescale both we and the buyer wanted.
We all know the market is crazy at the moment and there has probably never been a better time to be an Estate Agent, but we never felt like Spencer were too busy to speak to us or help in any way. As the owner of Spencer I’m really proud of the work we do and the business it’s become. I started out working alongside my mum and dad in 1998, and it was a hugely proud day for them when I bought the company in 2011, it was always their dream for me to continue the business. I love my work and the only thing I really switch off for is time with my gorgeous twins, who are hilarious and full of mischief in equal measure. Being a mum is my greatest achievement and bringing the children into work is never short of surprises! They both love property too and helped build our home where we live in S10, it is a dream come true to have been through that exciting and arduous process.
