Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
23 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
77% Reputation

The site exhibits high substance, with a low fluff-to-noun ratio in technical sections. Specific headings like Over 300 Certified Reference Materials and 160+ Gold CRMs provide concrete metrics, while body text includes granular details such as 12,000kg batch sizes and coefficient of variation (1RSD) of less than 1%. Some fluff exists in H3 markers like Your Success Starts With OREAS, but it is quickly anchored by technical data regarding 180 analytes and INAA results.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

OREAS® Certified Reference Materials

[H2] CRMs That Out Perform The Rest
The OREAS range of 300+ Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) are developed for the mining, exploration and analytical industries covering various commodities, concentrations and mineralisation styles.
All materials are characterised by rigorous inter-laboratory testing programs that adhere to the standards outlined by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 17034.
We produce 12,000kg batch sizes, providing exceptional continuity of supply, minimising disruptions and changeovers for our customers. Additionally, we have extensive experience preparing Custom (matrix-matched) CRMs from client supplied materials.
Our Certified Reference Materials are made from natural ore materials sourced from deposits across Australia, Southeast Asia, North and South America, and Africa. This includes refractory gold, gold occluded in silicates, and other metals hosted in refractory minerals.
Using natural ore source materials ensures our materials exhibit consistent behaviour with your field samples during sample fusion and digestion. This crucial characteristic maintains the integrity of the analytical process, delivering results that are directly comparable to your field samples.
We guarantee the homogeneity and stability of all materials, providing you with total confidence that any inconsistencies in QC data can be definitively attributed to laboratory measurement error, not sampling error of the CRM.
We are the only manufacturer that both test and provide a guarantee* of homogeneity of gold (and platinum group elements) across all OREAS and custom CRMs irrespective of the presence of coarse gold in the source materials.
[H6] *Quality Assurance Guarantee – a coefficient of variation (1RSD) of < 1% when calculated for a typical 30g fire assay using the results from 20 x≤1g INAA results and the Sampling Constant (as per the known relationship between SD and sample mass following Ingamells & Switzer, 1973).

[H2] Packaging

Packing options include single-use packets, vacuum or nitrogen packaging, wide mouth plastic jars, plastic buckets and steel drums, catering to various needs and quantities.

Available unit sizes range from 10g to 200kg, with options for custom sizes and labelling, including easily erasable and removable labels.

Our automated packaging machines create single-use units using high barrier foil film, providing effective long-term protection against oxygen and moisture.

All OREAS® CRMs are inherently stable in their final packaging and studies have confirmed that segregation is a negligible concern. For further details, please refer to our technical note.

[H2] Confidence In Every Batch

Highly Characterised SuperCRMs®

Over 85% of the OREAS range contain full ICP-OES and MS elemental suite certification for at least two different analytical methods with up to 180 analytes certified in a single product. We categorise these materials as SuperCRMs®, offering enhanced flexibility in QC monitoring. They serve as ideal solutions for monitoring pathfinder elements and conducting alteration mapping, and various other ICP applications.

Operationally Defined Gold Certification

Our OREAS gold ore CRMs contain separate gold certification for numerous analytical methodologies including fire assay, aqua regia digestion, cyanide leach, and PhotonAssay.

Certificates and DataPacks

To streamline assay monitoring and data handling, each OREAS® CRM is supplied with a downloadable Certificate of Analysis and DataPack, providing complete transparency of the preparation and characterisation process.

ISO Accredited

OREAS’ ISO 17034 accreditation demonstrates our commitment to quality and our adherence to international standards for competence in reference material production. This translates into greater confidence and consistency for client-generated results.

Custom CRMs

[H2] Tailored To The Highest Standards
When deposits or materials feature challenging matrices, specific grade ranges, or analytical requirements not adequately covered by catalogue products, OREAS® Custom Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) provide solutions tailored to the technical requirements of your project.
From refractory gold and polymetallic systems to battery metals, rare earths, and tightly constrained grade ranges, OREAS Custom CRMs support reliable QA/QC monitoring and greater confidence in analytical performance across your selected methods.
[H3] Material Preparation & Homogeneity
Custom CRMs can be produced from:
Client-supplied materials
OREAS source materials
Custom blends of both
With more than 500 tonnes of characterised source materials warehoused onsite, OREAS can develop CRM blends that closely reflect the composition, mineralisation style, and grade profile of your target orebody.
[H3] Production Scale
Available in batch sizes from 50 kg to 12,000 kg, supporting the full project lifecycle from early-stage exploration and feasibility studies through to mine production, downstream metallurgical processing, and long-term operational QA/QC.
[H3] Certification Framework
All OREAS Custom CRMs are produced under the same rigorous framework applied to OREAS catalogue products.
Certification is conducted in accordance with internationally recognised guidelines and under OREAS’ ISO 17034 accredited systems, providing confidence in traceability, statistical validity, documentation integrity and auditability.
