Information Density: MPC-HC – Signal Evidence & AI Readability

Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
26 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
87% Reputation

The information density is exceptionally high, favoring technical substance over marketing fluff. While headings like [H1] Lightweight and [H1] Customizable are common, they are immediately supported by specific nouns and requirements, such as ‘SSE2 CPU’ and ‘old computer back from 2000.’ The body text avoids generic adjectives, opting for technical descriptors like ‘GPU assisted decoding’ and ‘written in C++.’ Only minimal points were deducted for the brief repetition of the ‘lightweight’ value proposition across the Home and About pages.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

[H1] v1.7.13 is released and farewell
July 16, 2017 XhmikosRv1.7.13, the latest, and probably the last release of our project…For quite a few months now, or even years, the number of active developers has been decreasing and has inevitably reached zero. This, unfortunately, means that the project is officially dead and this release would be the last one.…Unless some people step up that is.So, if someone’s willing to really contribute and has C/C++ experience, let me know on IRC or via e-mail.Otherwise, all things come to an end and life goes on. It’s been a nice journey and I’m personally pretty overwhelmed having to write this post. Thanks to everyone who has contributed in any way all these years; Remember, MPC-HC is an 11-year old project.Don’t forget, that our official builds, both the stable and the beta builds, are digitally signed. Be aware of scams and only get the files from our site! Also, to report bugs, suggestions and generally provide feedback, use our Trac; reporting anything on social media or in any other place is just pointless, as the developers only follow Trac. You can download the new version here. For the complete changes see the changelog.

🧭 Industry Context — common generic-claim patterns in Software, SaaS & Tech Products to weigh the text against
Generic Claims: the all-in-one platform, trusted by thousands of companies, increase productivity by X percent, save hours every week, the leading platform for, built for teams of all sizes…
Red Flags: AI claims without explaining what the AI does, customer logos without case study or testimonial evidence, no live product access or demo, SOC 2 claims without audit period or report availability, productivity claims without methodology, pricing hidden behind sales calls only…
Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage claims AI-powered but product is rules-based, claims enterprise-grade but pricing page shows startup tiers only, homepage shows Fortune 500 logos but case studies are small businesses, claims all-in-one but integration page shows critical missing pieces, free plan promoted but core features require expensive upgrade…
Proof Expectations: live product demo or free trial access, specific feature documentation with screenshots, verified customer logos with published case studies, third-party review scores on G2, Capterra, or TrustRadius, published uptime SLA and status page, security certifications with audit dates…
