Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
21 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
70% Reputation

The Information Density is remarkably high for a tourism site, avoiding generic ‘luxury escape’ fluff in favor of specific historical nouns such as the Book of Lismore, St Carthage, and the Cavendish family. While headings like ‘See history come alive’ and ‘Education that will ignite a passion’ utilize power words, they are immediately anchored by substance-rich body text containing dates like 636 and 1185. The site does suffer from minor concept repetition regarding the Lismore Castle VR Experience, which is restated across four of the six pages without significant new detail. However, the presence of specific pricing (e.g., Adults €10, Family €25) and precise workshop durations (30 minutes) provides a solid substance-to-signal ratio.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

📝 The Narrative — clean text per page (the substance-vs-filler signal)

[H4] HERITAGE

[H2] LISMORE CASTLE AND TOWN

Founded by monks, visited by kings, attacked by Vikings and marched through by Normans and Cromwell, Lismore has an immensely colourful history you’re sure to want to linger over. A center of monastic education for centuries, Lismore was established by St Carthage in 636 and his monastery flourished, with Irish High Kings learning from great saints and scholars.
Built by King John in 1185 to guard the river, Lismore Castle was lived in by Sir Walter Raleigh, He then sold it to the Earl of Cork, whose family lost the castle twice, the second time through marriage to the Cavendish family, who, as the Dukes of Devonshire rebuilt it into the gothic marvel it is today.
