Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
23 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
77% Reputation

The information density is surprisingly high for the booking industry, with specific technical details such as ‘120 computer-controlled CCTV cameras’ and exact weekly pricing (£79.92) appearing across all pages. However, the site suffers from minor ‘Concept repetition’ where the ‘Approved Operator’ status is restated multiple times without adding new validation. Some headings like ‘In experienced hands’ serve as fluff, but the body text quickly follows with specific durations (15 years), maintaining a decent substance ratio.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

[H2] Park Mark Safer Parking – why it’s so important
The Safer Parking Scheme is a national standard for UK car parks that have measures in place to ensure the safety of people and vehicles. To achieve a Park Mark Award, a car park must be vetted by specially trained Police assessors, who examine the security features and management practices of the facility.
A Police Crime Prevention Initiative (Police-CPI) designed to reduce both crime and the fear of crime in car parks, the Park Mark Award can only be given to a particular car park, not to a parking company or organisation. Look for the Park Mark signs at any car park, for peace of mind when leaving your vehicle. At Gatwick Parking, the parking options we offer that are accredited with the Park Mark Award include APH Park & Ride Gatwick, Airparks Self Park Gatwick, I Love Meet & Greet Parking and APH Meet & Greet North Terminal.
[H2] Gatwick Parking Frequently Asked Questions
Is there any cheap parking at Gatwick?
There is a wide range of Gatwick parking options to suit all budgets. While pricing can vary according to availability, the least expensive types of car park at Gatwick are usually the off-airport facilities, which operate high-security parking lots and free shuttle buses to the terminals. Book in advance for the lowest prices.
Can I amend my Gatwick airport parking booking?
We offer a variety of parking options at London Gatwick Airport, with a range of pricing and booking flexibility. Super-flexible bookings may be cancelled or amended for any reason any time before the parking period begins. Flexible bookings may be cancelled or amended for any reason up to 24 hours before the parking period begins. For semi-flexible bookings, cancellations and amendments may be made up to the number of hours specified at the time of booking. If any booking is amended to a service that has a higher price, then you will need to pay the difference. If any booking is amended to a service that has a lower price, then you will receive a refund of the difference.

Which is the best car park at Gatwick?

Is there any free parking at Gatwick?
No. There is nowhere you can park for free at Gatwick. The most economical option is one of the off-airport car parks, which offer free shuttle buses to the terminal, as well as security for your vehicle while you are away.
Do I have to book Gatwick parking in advance, or can I just turn up?
You can just turn up on the day. However, it is usually much better value to book in advance, especially during peak travel times, when car parks can fill up.
How do I extend my parking at Gatwick?
If you need to extend your time away and therefore also your car parking booking, you need to contact the parking facility that you have booked with, who will advise of any additional costs.

[H4] How to get cheap Gatwick Airport parking
We all appreciate good value. And we all have different needs and budgets. Here at Gatwick Parking, we want you to book the parking product that is right for you. If low cost is your priority, then take a look at the tips we have collated for you below.
Book early and save
The cost of a car park at Gatwick is not fixed. Gatwick parking pricing is fluid; it fluctuates according to factors such as availability. If you can lock in your Gatwick parking booking in advance, you’ll have the best chance of securing the lowest possible price.
For example, our data shows that booking through Gatwick Parking six months prior to departure could save you as much as 60%, compared with booking just one week prior.
Book non-flexible parking
You can also save on Gatwick parking costs by looking out for non-flexible parking deals, if you have no plans to make any amendments to your booking.
Go for park and ride
It is the off-airport park and ride car parks that typically offer the best deals. Just leave yourself sufficient time to take the complimentary shuttle bus to the terminal – and save more for your holiday spending money. Our off-airport car parks all offer top levels of security including CCTV, 24-hour patrols, security fencing and entry/exit barriers.
The cheapest Gatwick parking
While pricing can fluctuate according to availability, the cheapest Gatwick parking option is usually the award-winning APH Car Park, which is a new, state-of-the-art secure facility, with easy access from the M23. It offers regular free shuttle transfers to both North and South terminals.

[H2] On-airport parking: How it works
The closest parking to the airport terminals, on-airport parking comprises both long-stay and short-stay car parks within the airport perimeter.
If you are going to be away for just a few days or less, then the multi-storey short-stay car parks at both the North and Terminals offer a 2-minute walk from car to check-in. You simply drive to the airport, follow the signs to the short-stay car park, find a space, unload your luggage, and proceed to check-in. You keep your car keys with you.
The long-stay car park operates the same way, but you need to take a shuttle bus to the terminals, which is between 10 and 20 minutes to the North Terminal and 7 to 12 minutes to the South Terminal.
For cost-effective alternatives offered by Gatwick Parking, you may want to consider off-airport options, such as APH Park & Ride Gatwick and Airparks Gatwick Self Park, which offer secure, easy-to-access parking facilities, with free, regular shuttle transfers to the terminals.
Or compare the costs of meet and greet services, such as APH Meet & Greet or Ace Meet & Greet, whereby you leave your car next to the terminal, and the meet and greet company take it to a secure parking facility for the duration of your time away, bringing it back to the terminal for you to collect on your return. This is the perfect option for those who want a quick getaway, or have young children, or lots of luggage
[H2] Off-airport parking: How it works
The off-airport parking options mean you can avoid driving into the busy airport area. Clearly signposted, easy-to-access and safe and secure, our off-airport Gatwick parking products offer the best value for money.
All you need to do is drive to the car park, check in at the reception office, unload your luggage and jump on one of the free shuttle buses that leave regularly for both terminals, taking 10 to 12 minutes. The shuttles operate 24 hours and drop you right outside the terminal doors.
You can choose from a park and ride car park, such as Airparks Gatwick Park & Ride, where you leave your keys for them to park your car for you, or self park, such as APH Self Park Gatwick, where you find a space and park your car yourself, keeping your keys with you.
If it’s low-cost Gatwick parking that you’re looking for, then we recommend you consider an off-airport parking option.
For peace of mind that your vehicle is safe and secure while you are away, just look out for the Park Mark Safer Parking Award sign, which confirm that the car park has passed a special Police assessment of its security installations and practices.
The Park Mark-accredited APH Car Park, for example, is protected with the latest high-tech security technology, including high-tech sensors, CCTV coverage, controlled entry/exit barriers and 24-hour, 365-day patrols.

[H2] Meet and greet parking: How it works
This is a great alternative to the short-stay car park. You still get to drive to the terminal, but you leave your car at a designated meet and greet area, where you hand your car keys to the meet and greet representative. Your car is then driven by them to a secure off-airport parking facility, while you take your bags and stroll across to check-in. And then when you fly back into Gatwick, they will have your car brought back to the designated area for you to collect once you have cleared Customs.
[IMG: Meet & greet process image]
Although meet and greet parking prices can compare favourably with the cost of the short-stay car park, please be aware of rogue operators when booking online. Check that the company you are booking with is listed on Gatwick Airport’s Approved Operators Scheme, as are all of the parking services offered by Gatwick Parking.

If you are currently on your trip and would like to amend your return date, please contact the car park directly and they will be able to help with this. Unfortunately, we cannot amend any bookings online once the parking period has commenced.
Is there a minimum stay or minimum charge?
Some car parks will charge a minimum price or only offer parking if you are staying for a minimum length of time. You can get a free quote online at gatwickparking.co.uk to see what dates are available.
How much time should I allow for dropping my car off and getting to the airport?
Generally, if you have booked a parking product that includes a transfer to the airport, you should arrive to the car park about 30 minutes before you wish to arrive at the airport. However, some transfer times may differ, so we recommend checking your confirmation to ensure you leave sufficient time.
Do I get to keep my keys?
Some parking products give you the option to keep your car keys. If you want to do this, then you need to book a “self-park” car park. Most other car parks require you to leave your keys.

[H2] When is the best time to book Gatwick meet and greet?
Gatwick meet & greet parking prices are dynamic and can fluctuate based on demand and availability. Typically, the closer you get to your departure date, the higher the price may be due to limited space. In fact, our data shows that booking around six months in advance could save you up to 60% compared to making your booking just a week before you travel. For example, a week of meet & greet parking might cost under £43 if booked half a year early, whereas the same week could be around £105 when booked a few days before departure. The lesson: if you want the lowest price, it pays to book your Gatwick parking as early as possible!

We only work with Gatwick’s fully approved meet & greet operators, which means every service meets the airport’s high standards for professionalism and security. (Each approved operator must meet strict criteria set by Gatwick Airport, like holding the Park Mark award and a Trading Standards accreditation. [H2] Meet & Greet: How it Works
Meet & Greet is a fantastic way to start your trip smoothly. To get your journey off to the perfect start, simply follow the steps below. Meet & greet parking at Gatwick is a huge time-saver and an ideal solution for both leisure and business travellers.
Illustration of how Gatwick meet & greet parking works, you drive straight to the terminal, hand over your car to be parked, and on return it’s brought back for you. For travellers new to this service, the process is straightforward. Here’s how a typical Gatwick meet & greet experience works from start to finish:
Book in advance: Reserve your meet & greet parking online, choosing your travel dates, times, and the Gatwick terminal (North or South) for drop-off. You’ll receive a confirmation with detailed instructions for the day of your trip.
Drive to the terminal: On the day of your flight, drive straight to the designated meet & greet drop-off point at your departure terminal. (Most operators will provide a specific meeting spot, usually right outside the terminal.) Many services ask that you call 20-30 minutes before you arrive to confirm your timing, so the driver is ready to meet you.
Meet your driver: A uniformed, fully insured driver will be waiting for you at the terminal drop-off area. They’ll verify your booking details and do a quick inspection of your car before you hand over the keys.
Walk straight to check-in: While the driver takes your car to a secure off-site car park, you’re free to walk directly into the terminal to check in and begin your journey. There’s no need for any shuttle bus, your car is being parked for you, saving you time and hassle.
Return from your trip: When you land back at Gatwick, call the provided contact number (usually given on your receipt or booking confirmation) after you’ve collected your luggage. This lets the meet & greet team know you’re ready, so they can dispatch your driver with your car. (Many operators track your flight arrival time as well, to accommodate early or delayed flights.)
Collect your car: The driver will bring your car back to the agreed meeting point at the terminal (often the same area as drop-off). Then you simply walk out of the terminal, meet your car and driver, and you’re all set to drive home. It’s that easy, no waiting for shuttles, no trekking across parking lots!
