Following on from the Business Class Error Fare we recently shared from Europe to the US & Canada, we’ve discovered that the reverse appears to be working too — this time in Economy Class. Just like the Business Class version, the fuel surcharge appears to be self-dumping, creating exceptionally low fares… Error Fare, open-jaw, summer flights from the US to Europe, returning to Canada from only $249. Appears to be a self-dump. There are countless route combinations available. This Error Fare works with many more cities than what we have mentioned below. You can mix and match a wide range of US and European cities within the open-jaw itinerary to create one that suits your travel plans. One important tip: the UK has one of the world’s highest departure taxes. If you’d like to include a UK city in your double open-jaw itinerary, it is generally best to make it your arrival point in Europe rather than your departure point. For the Canadian return, Toronto is currently producing the lowest fares, although Montreal and Vancouver can also work on certain dates and routings. Incredibly, this Error Fare is also working from Hawaii. For example, a routing such as Honolulu – Dublin – Toronto for only $260 is an insane price. Even if you have no intention of flying the return sector, this can effectively be treated as a one-way ticket from Hawaii to Europe for a fraction of the normal cost.
