[H6] When can you deliver my order?
We deliver Monday-Friday (except Bank Holidays), between 07:30-17:00. In your basket, you will be given an estimated delivery date & during checkout you can select a different delivery option, if available.
[H6] How long will my order take to be delivered?
For standard delivery, we estimate orders to arrive in up to 5 working days.Next day delivery orders, when ordered by 5pm, will aim to be delivered on the next working day.For the overwhelming majority of orders, we will meet the estimated delivery timescales we give you. However, there may be some times when your order cannot be delivered on the estimated delivery date. We will keep you informed if we make any changes to your delivery date.
[H6] Is there a minimum order value?
There is no minimum order value required for delivery. All Customers will be charged £9 (ex. VAT) for delivery or will receive free delivery on orders over £75 (ex. VAT).
[H6] What if I need to change or cancel an order?
If you placed your order in branch, you will need to speak directly to the branch. If you placed your order online, you will need to speak to our customer services team on 0330 678 0267 or customerservice@cityplumbing.co.uk.
[H6] What is a curbside delivery?
Curbside delivery means the driver will deliver your order to the nearest safe access point at your address (the curb, your driveway, or outside your gate).The Driver’s Role: They’re responsible for removing the goods from the vehicle and placing them on the ground.Your Role: For safety and insurance reasons, drivers generally cannot enter your home, carry items up stairs, or navigate around the back of a property. You'll be responsible for moving the items from the curb into your property.
Top Tip: If you’ve ordered heavy items like radiators, boilers, or large lengths of trunking, make sure you have someone on-site to help you move them.
[H6] Why is my order in two deliveries?
It’s quite common for orders to be split. This usually happens for one of two reasons: Stock Locations: Part of your order might be in stock at your local CPS branch, while the rest is coming from a National Distribution Centre. Specialist Items: If you’ve ordered a mix of standard parts and specialised equipment (like a bespoke bathroom vanity), they may ship separately to ensure the standard items reach you as quickly as possible.
[H6] What if my delivery is coming from a supplier?
Sometimes City Plumbing acts as the middleperson for specialised products. If an item is coming directly from a supplier: Different Lead Times: These items usually have longer delivery windows (e.g. 5–10 working days) than standard branch stock. Direct Communication: The supplier’s own courier service will often contact you directly via SMS or phone to arrange a specific delivery date. Additional Charges: On rare occasions, sourcing a specific part directly from a supplier may incur a separate supplier direct delivery fee. However, this will always be shown in your basket before you pay.

1. Select Collection Choose your preferred City Plumbing branch during checkout. The website will indicate if the item needs to be ordered in.

You must wait for the 'Ready for Collection' SMS or email. Do not travel to the branch until you receive this, as the item won't be available at the counter yet.

[H6] What happens when I've submitted my order?
The order is received and processed by your chosen branch. The branch will send an SMS to the mobile number you provided once it's ready for collection.
[H6] When can I collect my order?
Items in stock at your local branch will be ready within 2 working hours (when ordered by 3pm).Items not in stock will be ready within 4 working days. You will receive an SMS and an email when your order is ready to be collected.
[H6] What ID do I need to show when collecting goods?
Once you're notified, visit your chosen branch to collect your goods. You will be asked for a valid form of ID to confirm you are the person who made the order. This is either a valid UK driving licence or a passport.You can send someone else to collect your goods, as long as they can show the original email confirmation and a valid form of ID.Please note: Guest customers will also have to show the payment card that was used to place the order.
