Information Density: Casson Mann – Signal Evidence & AI Readability

Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
27 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
90% Reputation

The information density is exceptionally high, with headings serving as functional identifiers for specific projects like the [H3] Musée national de la Marine or [H2] Fleming Centre rather than marketing fluff. Body text avoids generic filler, instead citing specific milestones such as the 2001 design of the V&A British Galleries, described as a ‘benchmark of object-rich display.’ Specific locations (Reims, Macclesfield, Bremen) and institutional clients (Imperial War Museum, Jodrell Bank) are named throughout. The ratio of proper nouns to marketing adjectives is among the highest in the sector.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

📝 The Narrative — clean text per page (the substance-vs-filler signal)

[H3] background
Casson Mann was founded in 1984 by designers Dinah Casson and Roger Mann. In 2001, they designed the British Galleries at the V&A, at that time the biggest redisplay project the museum had ever undertaken. The British Galleries is still regarded as a benchmark of object-rich display. Dinah and Roger were elected to the Faculty of Royal Designers for Industry in 2006. Dinah retired from Casson Mann in 2017.
[H3] environmental policy
Casson Mann is committed to providing the highest practicable levels of sustainability according to the client’s own best practice, and to actively recommending sustainable design approaches to our clients. At a minimum, our projects must comply with current environmental legislation; we strive to surpass these legal obligations and ensure sustainability is core to our design practice. We are fully committed to reducing the impact our company has on the environment. We recognise that our climate impact extends beyond the physical studio itself and have identified three key aspects to our environmental policy: make our office greener, revamping our design approach and changing the sector for the better.read more

🧭 Industry Context — common generic-claim patterns in Arts, Culture & Entertainment to weigh the text against
Generic Claims: world-class entertainment, unforgettable experiences, something for everyone, inspiring audiences, celebrating creativity, bringing communities together…
Red Flags: no specific upcoming events or programming, unnamed performers or artists, vague venue descriptions without capacity or location details, grandiose mission with no evidence of activity, no ticketing integration or booking mechanism, claims of cultural impact with no community evidence…
Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage claims cultural significance but events are corporate hire, positions as inclusive but pricing excludes most demographics, claims community focus but no community programming listed, artistic mission statement contradicted by purely commercial offerings…
Proof Expectations: specific past events with dates and attendance, named artists and performers with verifiable credits, press coverage with named publications, funding body acknowledgments with grant details, audience reviews on third-party platforms, programming calendar with confirmed dates…
