Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
23 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
77% Reputation

The site maintains a respectable substance ratio, providing specific historical dates like the founding in 1980 and the acquisition of Pressman Toy Corporation in 2014 (originally founded in 1922). While headings like [H1] Where innovation lives and [H3] Toys and games Made clever together are fluffy, they are balanced by hard data such as having offices in 15 countries and distribution in over 100 markets. The body text identifies specific global locations including Hattem, Dallas, and Hong Kong, moving beyond vague globalist claims.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

More about Goliath

[H2] About Us

Goliath is a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of toys and games. We have offices in 15 countries and distribution channels reaching over 100 countries. At Goliath, we believe in the power of a good product and the spark of innovation, where product is king and innovation is key. These principles have been the foundation of our success since our founding in 1980 by Adi Golad.

[H2] An Ambition From 1980 Made Reality

Our story is both rich and inspiring. The magic began with the distribution of Rummikub, a game discovered by Adi’s wife, Margreeth, during a desert trip in 1978. Their dedication to the game, coupled with entrepreneurial spirit, saw it become the #1 game in the Netherlands by 1986. However, the legacy of Goliath goes further back. In 2014, we acquired Pressman Toy Corporation, founded in 1922. As we journeyed, our family grew with the acquisition of companies like Jax, Crown & Andrews, and Vivid Toy Group, enriching our global offering.

🧭 Industry Context — common generic-claim patterns in Arts, Culture & Entertainment to weigh the text against
Generic Claims: world-class entertainment, unforgettable experiences, something for everyone, inspiring audiences, celebrating creativity, bringing communities together…
Red Flags: no specific upcoming events or programming, unnamed performers or artists, vague venue descriptions without capacity or location details, grandiose mission with no evidence of activity, no ticketing integration or booking mechanism, claims of cultural impact with no community evidence…
Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage claims cultural significance but events are corporate hire, positions as inclusive but pricing excludes most demographics, claims community focus but no community programming listed, artistic mission statement contradicted by purely commercial offerings…
Proof Expectations: specific past events with dates and attendance, named artists and performers with verifiable credits, press coverage with named publications, funding body acknowledgments with grant details, audience reviews on third-party platforms, programming calendar with confirmed dates…
