Lexicon
(https://lexicon.com) 📸 Data Snapshot: May 30, 2026Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
There is minimal semantic drift between the homepage signal and sub-page delivery; the H1 Lexicon US and hero text Powerful. Flexible. Sensible. align well with the technical capabilities detailed on product pages. The primary disconnect is temporal rather than topical: the About Lexicon page positions the brand as a leader through a timeline that abruptly stops in 2011, creating a drift between the claim of leading-edge innovation and a 15-year lack of documented history.
Semantic Coherence is read from the heading hierarchy first: what each page announces in its H1 and headings, then whether the body actually delivers on it. Below is the structure the engine mapped, followed by the clean text to check for drift between promise and reality.

Read more Find a Dealer [H3] POWERFUL The Lexicon® DD8+ utilizes patented DriveCore™ amplifier technology to deliver plenty of power from a sleek compact design, while operating with amazing efficiency. With eight channels @125 watts each (all channels driven) the DD-8+ has enough juice to easily drive the most demanding speakers. Powerful DSP including 10-band parametric eq and limiting per channel, preamplifier functionality, along with an audiophile grade hi res 24 bit/192khz DAC ensures the DD-8+ delivers pristine audio quality to every room. [H3] DriveCore™ Amplifier Technology Establishing new standards in distributed audio sound quality, the proprietary and multi-patented DriveCore™ amplifier technology inside the DD-8+ was developed by HARMAN as a joint venture with Texas Instruments. A HARMAN DriveCore™ is significantly less complex than a traditional class D amplifier circuit. DriveCore™ seamlessly integrates the amplifier drive stage into the power output stage effectively replacing 500+ discrete components of a typical clad D design with a single silicon circuit no larger than a dime. This breakthrough technology is what allows the DD-8+ to deliver 1000 watts of crystal-clear audio from a cool running, single rack space unit that weighs less than 10 lbs. [H3] FLEXIBLE With full 10 x 8 matrix switching and extensive DSP capabilities, the Lexicon DD-8+ is ideal for multi-room audio, custom-installation and home theater applications. It offers flexible configuration options via a web interface including selection of 10 analog and 4 stereo digital inputs and mono/stereo selection for each channel output pair. DSP preamplifier functionality includes pink noise generation, bass and treble controls, 10-band fully parametric EQ, limiter and delay settings, selectable high-pass and low-pass filters, input trim level with clip indicators and an independent output level. Dim and mute function as well max volume can be customized for each channel. IP control over Ethernet, signal sensing, and 5-15VDC trigger control ports add additional flexibility. In addition there are 3 global presets available. [H3] SENSIBLE The Lexicon DD8+ encompasses HARMAN GreenEdge™ environmentally friendly technology, for low power consumption and low heat emission. The system’s high-efficiency, convection-cooled design allows up to five units to be stacked with just a single vent space above. The DD-8+ complies with the half-watt standby power consumption standards, and uses less power during normal operation than most traditional amplifiers do at idle. The amplifier has feedback and protection circuits incorporated into the DriveCore™ chip, and can switch to low-power standby mode when not in use for even lower energy consumption. The award marks Lexicon’s 40+ years of helping make recorded music a reality. We’re happy to get the recognition, but we’re thrilled to keep revolutionizing the art and science of recording for decades to come. GRAMMY®, GRAMMY Awards® and the gramophone logo are registered trademarks of The Recording Academy® and are used under license. ©2014 The Recording Academy. [H2] Born in the Studio. We’re not new to audio excellence. Lexicon is the gold standard for digital audio in almost every recording studio in the world. And we’ve helped create 80% of the world’s recorded music. When you own a piece of Lexicon equipment, you know you’re getting technology that’s good enough for the pros, but designed for your living room — the same technology that just earned us a GRAMMY®. [H3] A History of Innovation Since 1971, Lexicon has been at the leading edge of technology, helping to innovate both professional and consumer audio. From the world’s first commercially available digital effects processor to the new Automatic Room Equalization System, each product reflects our love of music and commitment to the artistic process. [IMG: Lexicon History] [H3] Lexicon Through the Years [IMG: Lexicon] [H3] 1971 Lexicon is founded based in the wake of American Data Sciences by MIT professor Dr. Francis Lee and engineer Chuck Bagnaschi, who developed digital audio devices for medical heart monitoring. [IMG: Lexicon] [H3] 1971-1988 Lexicon becomes the recognized leader in digital reverb and signal processing, as well as one of the pioneers of hard disc recording technology. During this period, Lexicon exclusively builds professional products for the recording industry. [IMG: 1988] [H3] 1988 Lexicon introduces its first product for home applications: the CP-1 preamplifier/processor, which featured Dolby Surround processing. [IMG: 1999] [H3] 1999 Lexicon introduces the DC-2 surround preamplifier/processor–the first with built-in DTS and Dolby Digital decoding. A month later, Lexicon launches the MC-1 surround preamplifier/processor -- the first product to include Lexicon’s revolutionary Logic7 surround algorithm. [IMG: 2001] [H3] 2001 Lexicon introduces the MC-12 surround preamplifier/processor. The most advanced surround processor of its time, it debuts a new industrial design for Lexicon that is still in use today: the iconic silver aluminum faceplate. The MC-12 is the first Lexicon model to wear the THX Ultra certification logo and subsequently goes on to raise the bar for home surround audio. [IMG: 2001] [H3] 2001 Lexicon introduces the LX-7 multichannel (7 channels) and the LX-5 (5 channels) home theater power amplifiers. [IMG: 2003] [H3] Feb. 2003 Lexicon introduces the MC-8 surround preamplifier/processor as a scaled down version of the MC-12 platform. This model features fewer inputs and dual zone s, but retains the MC-12’s high level of performance and is the first Lexicon surround preamplifier model to receive THX Ultra2 certification. [IMG: 2003] [H3] March 2003 Lexicon introduces the RT-10 universal DVD/SACD player. Developed in-house, the RT-10 represents Lexicon’s first source player. It is heralded as state-of-the-art in terms of performance, design and build quality. [IMG: 2003] [H3] Oct. 2003 Lexicon introduces the CX-7 and CX-5 multichannel home theater power amplifiers. These are lower power companions (140W/ch x 7 and 5 channels, respectively) to the LX series models introduced in 2001. [IMG: 2005] [H3] 2005 Lexicon introduces the MC-4,a single zone preamplifier designed for less complex home theater installations. It retains the same basic features and THX Ultra2 certification as its MC-8 and MC-12 siblings. [IMG: 2006] [H3] May 2006 Lexicon introduces the MC-12HD and MC-12HDB surround preamplifier/processors. These two models add HDMI video capability to the MC-12 platform, readying it for the future of Blu-ray and other high-resolution audio and video formats. The MC-8 V2 and MC-8B V2 add the latest Dolby and DTS surround decoding, along with Lexicon’s automatic calibration and LIVE surround processing. [IMG: 2006] [H3] June 2006 Lexicon introduces the ZX-7 and RX-7 multichannel home theater power amplifiers, replacing the LX and CX series models. The ZX-7 represents a new level of power amplifier performance with 300W/ch x 7 channels, while the smaller RX-7 is rated at 200W/ch and uses a single 20A power cord. These two models are followed by the smaller 125W x 7 GX-7. [IMG: 2008] [H3] Oct 2008 Lexicon introduces the RV-5 audio/video receiver and the MV-5 surround preamplifier/processor. Both models feature dual HDMI inputs, and the RV-5 also includes a 7 x 80W power amplifier. These models are the first Lexicon products with AM/FM tuners, PC USB inputs and iPod docking capability.
