Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
22 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
73% Reputation

The body text is exceptionally dense with substance, citing a high volume of specific, named clients including Hewlett Packard, Grant Thornton, Autodesk, and Intel. While headings like ‘Your Specialist Interiors & Construction Partner’ and ‘What’s Your Superpower?’ lean toward standard marketing fluff, they are immediately supported by concrete data, such as the mention of 200 professionals and revenue of 200m Euro. The ratio of fluff to specific nouns is low, with dozens of identifiable project titles such as ’35 Shelbourne Road’ and ‘Aerodrome Business Park’ throughout the clean text.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

[H1] Firstly a huge thanks to the team at mac-group for delivering an outstanding fit out at our new Autodesk EMEA HQ, between Amanda and myself we probably gave 50+ non-Autodesk people a tour just this week and every single person wanted to know who the fit out contractor was and I was really proud to share the mac-group story! – Of course, our CxO’s (Corporate Executives), were also in town this week delighted to hear them explain to 170+ staff that the EMEA HQ has set a new bar for how our offices world-wide should look & feel.

[H1] DPS Group contracted with mac to provide a full turn key fit out for our new offices in City West. We were impressed with mac’s team, their quality of supply and professional management of program and costs. The mac team was proactive, responsive and client focused. They handed us over a high quality, well designed facility on time and within budget.

I would have no hesitation recommending mac for this type of project.

🧭 Industry Context — common generic-claim patterns in Construction, Contractors & Building Services to weigh the text against
Generic Claims: built on trust, quality craftsmanship, on time and on budget, exceeding expectations, your trusted builder, no project too large or small…
Red Flags: no specific completed project details, no insurance or bond information, guaranteed pricing without site survey, no health and safety documentation, stock photos of construction sites, claims all trades with no subcontractor disclosure…
Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage shows commercial projects but services are domestic extensions, claims specialist contractor but offers every trade, homepage positioning is premium but portfolio shows basic builds, claims project management expertise but no PM qualifications shown…
Proof Expectations: named completed projects with images and scope details, specific trade qualifications and body memberships, public liability insurance and contractor all-risk details, health and safety policy and accident record, building regulation compliance and sign-off examples, named references from recent projects…
