Katy Independent School District
(https://katyisd.org) 📸 Data Snapshot: May 31, 2026Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
The site exhibits high substance-to-fluff ratio in its body text, specifically mentioning 95,000 students, 181 square miles of territory, and named individuals such as Carolyn Liu and Blake Hamilton. However, Information Density is penalized by technical ‘heading noise’ where H2 tags are used for UI labels like ‘Toggle Close Container’ and ‘Mobile Main Nav’ rather than content. Real value is found in the News Headlines section which cites specific global and state-level competition results.
Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

The Board functions according to state and federal laws, the rules and regulations established by the State Board of Education, the Texas Education Agency and the will of the people as expressed in district elections. The seven member board, while composed of individuals, acts officially only as a group. No member or group of members acts in the name of the Board unless authorized by the Board. A majority of the Board constitutes a quorum for the transaction of business. Individual trustees, serving without pay, are elected for three-year terms on a rotating basis. Elections are conducted on the first Saturday of May. While candidates run for specific positions on the ballot, they represent the entire district as Board members. The Board of Trustees elects a president, vice president, and secretary to serve one-year terms. It selects and employs the superintendent and delegates the responsibility and authority for the operation of the school district to the chief executive officer. The superintendent advises board members on all matters concerning school management. [H2] Order of Business Regular Board Meetings begin with Open Forum.
