Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
13 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
43% Reputation

The site suffers from extreme heading fluff and repetition, with the phrase [H2] Exceptional Childcare appearing four consecutive times in the top section. While the body text provides concrete data points—such as being an 86-place nursery, opening 51 weeks a year, and operating from 7.30am to 6pm—these are overshadowed by generic value propositions. The specificity ratio is saved only by the explicit listing of staff-to-child ratios (1:3, 1:5, 1:8). However, the repetition of the same [H2] and [H3] blocks indicates significant content padding.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

[H1] Welcome To Sandfield Day Nursery

Sandfield Day Nursery is an 86 place day nursery providing childcare for children aged 6 weeks – 5 years. It is a purpose built, single storey building located inside a peaceful and relaxing community recreational park, close to the university, QMC and the city centre. We are open 51 weeks of the year from 7.30am – 6pm Monday – Friday, excluding bank holidays.

"We offer funding from 9 months old and up to 30 hours."

[H2] We insist on high staff-to-child ratios

We adhere strictly to the following minimum staff to children ratios, in order to ensure that our childcare philosophy can be properly implemented at all times:

Babies (six weeks to two years) – One staff member for every three babies
Toddlers (two to three years) – One staff member for every five toddlers
Pre-Schoolers (three to five years) – One staff member for every eight children

The high ratio of staff to children, together with our superb facilities, is what makes our conveniently located nursery the best place for your child to start their education. Each room that we use is designed for a specific age group and is fitted with furnishings designed with safety and comfort in mind. We believe our nursery is a place where everyone feels safe, nurtured, stimulated and inspired to learn.
