Mevopur Healthcare Bio-based Polymer Solutions are a unique offering of color and additive concentrates a.k.a masterbatches, and tailored ready-to-use solutions. They are formulated with bio-based polymers and pre-tested raw materials to help reduce carbon footprint and mitigate the risk of non-compliance during regulatory submission. We can provide bio-based solutions for polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, styrenics and ABS. The bio-based content of the carrier resin varies from 70% to 95% and even 100% in some cases. We work with customers to offer the best bio-based polymer solution adapted to their project.
Mevopur Healthcare Bio-based Polymer Solutions can be processed like fossil-based grades on common injection molding and extrusion machines. As such, they can be used in a wide range of applications, from housings of drug delivery and diagnostic devices, and pharmaceutical containers and closures to labware tubes, syringes, and cannulae. In addition to bio-based polymer solutions, we can provide guidance on other masterbatches and formulations that can help increase the sustainability of your portfolio.
