Mevopur™ Healthcare Bio-based Polymer Solutions
[H2] Reduce Carbon Footprint
Mevopur Healthcare Bio-based Polymer Solutions are a unique offering of color and additive concentrates a.k.a masterbatches, and tailored ready-to-use solutions. They are formulated with bio-based polymers and pre-tested raw materials to help reduce carbon footprint and mitigate the risk of non-compliance during regulatory submission. We can provide bio-based solutions for polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, styrenics and ABS. The bio-based content of the carrier resin varies from 70% to 95% and even 100% in some cases. We work with customers to offer the best bio-based polymer solution adapted to their project.
Mevopur Healthcare Bio-based Polymer Solutions can be processed like fossil-based grades on common injection molding and extrusion machines. As such, they can be used in a wide range of applications, from housings of drug delivery and diagnostic devices, and pharmaceutical containers and closures to labware tubes, syringes, and cannulae. In addition to bio-based polymer solutions, we can provide guidance on other masterbatches and formulations that can help increase the sustainability of your portfolio.
Our site in Malmö, Sweden, and Jurong, Singapore, received the ISCC PLUS certification for their bio-based concentrates and ready-to-use formulations manufactured following the mass balance chain-of-custody approach.

Flame retardants are used in a variety of applications from building materials, furniture, upholstery, electrical and electronic components to automotive parts. They help mitigate fire hazards by increasing the ignition resistance of plastics, reducing the speed of flame spread, reducing heat release, and reducing smoke and fume generation.
The Cesa Flame Retardant Additives portfolio comprises a wide range of efficient flame retardant technologies that include halogenated and non-halogenated substances, hydroxides, phosphorous formulations, and intumescent systems. Their suitability spans various resins from polyolefins and styrenics to engineering resins.
Standard and custom solutions are available to comply with the technical and regulatory requirements of different applications such as Glow Wire ratings for E&E, building and construction standards, textile norms, REACH, and RoHS.
