When you put them all together you have your design.</p><br/><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">If you look at pre-made rings, someone else (the manufacturer) has already made those choices.</p><br/><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">When you book a design consultation at Aurum, a highly-skilled jeweller from our on-site workshop will sit down with you, and talk you through the design process.</p><br/><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">If you have an engagement ring we'll start by taking a look at that. You need to consider how much room you have on your finger for the wedding ring. </p><br/><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">Your might like your wedding ring to be exactly the same width as your engagement ring, but if you want it wider we need to establish the optimum width.  (We work to the nearest 1/10 of a mm, so you can be quite precise about this measurement.)</p><br/><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">The depth is also important. We usually suggest that the two rings should have the same depth, so that they sit on one level although, if your engagement ring is very thin, it might be wise to make the wedding ring a tad deeper to add a bit more strength.</p><br/><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">Another consideration is the profile or cross-section of the band. Again, you might like to match the band of your engagement ring.</p><br/><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">Generally, the more features the engagement and wedding ring have in common, the more harmonious the overall look.</p><br/><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">Once we have thought about these basic features, we can move on to the details, including surface finishes, textures or patterns.  </p><br/><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">If you like the idea of diamonds in your band there will be lots more things to consider. </p><br/><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">These include the number of diamonds, their size and quality, the method of setting, etc..</p><br/><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">By the end of your consultation you will have designed your own wedding ring.  </p><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">You'll probably find it an enjoyable process.</p><br/><br/><p class=\"rteBlock\" no_space_b=\"true\" no_space_e=\"true\">To book your free consultation just give us a call.</p><br/><br/>"
