Information Density: Notting Hill & Ealing High School (NHEHS) – Signal Evidence & AI Readability

Notting Hill & Ealing High School (NHEHS)

(http://www.nhehs.gdst.net) 📸 Data Snapshot: May 22, 2026
Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
23 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
77% Reputation

The site exhibits high information density, particularly on the ‘How to apply’ page which details specific assessment durations (e.g., ‘100 minutes in length’) and specific registration deadlines like ’16th October 2026′. While some headings like ‘A passion for academic excellence’ are thematic, they are immediately followed by substance-rich news items about RIBA awards and GCSE results. The body text prioritizes procedural clarity over marketing fluff, providing a detailed breakdown of entrance test components for Sixth Form including ’60 minute Maths paper’ and ‘computer-based test’.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

📝 The Narrative — clean text per page (the substance-vs-filler signal)

These Senior School events are primarily aimed at those applying for 11+ entry in September 2027 (although if you are considering applying for 2028 entry, you are also welcome to attend), and are open to parents and their daughters.
Friday 8th May 2026 – Open Morning for 11+ entry – book here
Thursday 11th June 2026 – Open Morning for 11+ entry – book here
Thursday 8th October 2026 – Music Open Morning for 11+ entry 2027* – book here
*This event is for girls who would be joining us in 2027 and are thinking of applying to us for a Music Scholarship. Girls spend the morning with us, taking part in group activities and meeting some of our current music scholars. This event is not part of the scholarship assessment process and girls will not be performing individually. There is a short concert at the end, which parents are warmly invited to attend.
There will be further open mornings and an open evening in the autumn term, and details of these will be advertised here in June.

[H4] Sixth Form
Sixth Form Open Events for External Applicants for 2026 Entry
The best way to discover what life is really like in our Sixth Form is to come and see us in person. Our autumn Open Events have taken place, however if you would like to find out more about our Sixth Form, please email our Head of Admissions Lauren Whitaker-Smith to arrange a personal tour of our Sixth Form Centre and Senior School, when you will be able to talk to our Head of Sixth Form and subject tutors.

[H4] We thoroughly enjoyed the open evening and came away with a real sense that this is a school which exudes joy, care and positivity; turning out clever, creative and charming girls. We think our daughter would thrive at NHEHS.

[H4] Entrance Test & Interviews
Entrance test: December 2026
Interviews: January 2027
Joining the Senior School at 11+ is selective and involves written tests and an interview. We are part of the London 11+ Consortium and for 2026 entry, the Consortium schools will be using a bespoke, online entrance test. Our entrance test seeks to discover a child’s potential in creative and critical thinking, analysis, synthesis and problem-solving.
The test will be 100 minutes in length, with a break part-way through and can be taken in a student’s current school, or at one of the Consortium schools to which she has applied.
Applicants taking the entrance test here at Notting Hill & Ealing High School will take it in early December.
All applicants are interviewed to allow us to gather as much information as possible about each applicant, and we do all we can to put students at ease so they can perform to the best of their abilities on the day.
