Semantic Coherence: Notting Hill & Ealing High School (NHEHS) – Signal Evidence & AI Readability

Semantic Coherence — The Lens

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Semantic Coherence Homepage promise vs. Sub-page reality.
18 Impact Weight: 20 / 100
90% Reputation

Minimal semantic drift is detected between the homepage signal and sub-page substance. The H1 ‘No either-or’ introduces a value proposition centered on the lack of trade-off between academic rigor and student wellbeing; this is consistently supported across sub-pages that balance ‘A Level Excellence’ reports with ‘Pastoral Support’ and ‘Rock & Pop Concert’ news. The heading hierarchy is logical, moving from broad philosophy to specific entry requirements for different age groups.

Semantic Coherence is read from the heading hierarchy first: what each page announces in its H1 and headings, then whether the body actually delivers on it. Below is the structure the engine mapped, followed by the clean text to check for drift between promise and reality.

🏗️ Semantic Structure — heading hierarchy & page identity (the promise the page makes)

There will be a tour by our Year 6 students and you will be able to hear from our Head of Junior School, Ms Kate Bevan, and see our Senior School. And of course, ask lots of questions.

Girls spend the morning with us, taking part in group activities and meeting some of our current music scholars. This event is not part of the scholarship assessment process and girls will not be performing individually. There is a short concert at the end, which parents are warmly invited to attend.
There will be further open mornings and an open evening in the autumn term, and details of these will be advertised here in June.

Entrance test: December 2026
Interviews: January 2027
Joining the Senior School at 11+ is selective and involves written tests and an interview. We are part of the London 11+ Consortium and for 2026 entry, the Consortium schools will be using a bespoke, online entrance test. Our entrance test seeks to discover a child’s potential in creative and critical thinking, analysis, synthesis and problem-solving.
The test will be 100 minutes in length, with a break part-way through and can be taken in a student’s current school, or at one of the Consortium schools to which she has applied.
Applicants taking the entrance test here at Notting Hill & Ealing High School will take it in early December.
All applicants are interviewed to allow us to gather as much information as possible about each applicant, and we do all we can to put students at ease so they can perform to the best of their abilities on the day.
